The restaurant was very clean and well presented when we went in, also quiet but it was a 18:00 booking. This changed as the evening progressed.First course was well presented and tasted lovely, I was not prepared for cold tacos, but it worked fine.Main course of lobster was well prepared and tasty with plenty of protein on the 1lb animal.Dessert off key lime pie was very nice and super creamy, with just of enough lime flavour.A final touch from the team was a small plate with some petit fours wishing it's a happy anniversary. All in all I would highly recommend, especially as this was my wife's first time taking lobster and she was very impressed.

Really disappointed with this restaurant. Ordered the beef tacos to start and they weren't tacos they were basically Pringles with cold meat on top. I then ordered the lobster and steak surf and turf and another searing disappointment. They use a really big roll and basically put hardly anything in it. My colleague had the set menu and ordered steak and my other colleague didn't go with the set menu and had steak and was given half the amount of the person who was paying slightly less on the set menu. Total rip off. Also had a tomato and feta salad and the produce used tasted like Tesco's salad tomatoes, cheap and flavourless .Service was diabolical, far too many staff miscommunicating with each other. Basic rules of eating is that you do not clear plates until everyone is finished, but they just couldn't help themselves. Constantly hovering around the table and trying to take food that wasn't finished.bringing the wrong food, not bringing food, waiting 15 mins for a desert menue even though the place was empty.I wouldn't recommend and I definitely wouldn't go back you need to actually start putting a full portion of the lobster you promise into your rolls. Meal came to over £200, Which is no issue when the food tastes lovely but this was under average at best

The service was incredible, friendly and fast service. I got the surf and thurf, half lobster half steak. It was ok, the lobster was tasteless and the steak was quite ordinary, the fries were very good, crunchy and soft on the inside.

With less than 20 items on a menu you would expect all of them to be finished to a high standard given the price point. We ended up here because Goucho was booked for a private function and what unfolded was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. We had a full Lobster, 1 fillet and 1 sirloin. Never in my life have I eaten steak with so much connective tissue, a lobster so chewy it made your jaw ache more than the night after a trip to a 90's rave. Overpriced and lifeless wine. The only redeeming factor was the wonderful staff, but my god. This meal run us £200+ and it was worse than something I would have got in a spoons. I am gutted that I lost a rare evening out to the worst quality food I have ever eaten in my entire life. The VC backers will be taking a haircut as well as an uncomfortable dump if this is what the group serves up and calls it food.

I recently dined at the steak and lobster restaurant, and I have mixed feelings about the experience. The starters were a letdown. Unfortunately, they lacked. I ordered tacos but received these cold crème fresh crackers instead. It was a bit disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the place. On a brighter note, the mains were outstanding. The lobster was cooked to perfection, and the portions were impressively generous. The fries were so crispy and the lobster was covered in garlic butter. In summary, while the starters left something to be desired, the excellence of the main course redeemed the meal and left me with a positive impression of the restaurant.

The service here is fantastic! Customer service is spot on so well done guys. The food is impeccable, I had the rib eye, medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the lobster fettuccine which again, was cooked exceptionally well. We didn't have too much time to spend here because of other commitments but we will be coming back. The manager should be proud.

Satisfying lunch on a quiet Saturday. The blackened beef salad is exactly what I wanted. Crispy but still tender, nicely seasoned. The meat portion is also quite generous, almost a thin slice of steak. The balsamic mustard dressing is a little oily but still tastes refreshing overall. The lobster is lovely with the lemon garlic. No need for salt and pepper. Not a big one, but the flesh is tender and plump. The staff are friendly and caring. Thanks to the lady for confirming if I really want two salads as starter and as a side instead of one side salad and a dessert, but yes, all the way to detox. And thanks to the bartender from next door for showing me the way ^^Handles of the cutleries are a bit too short though— and I have small hands.

I had a very disappointing experience at Steak and Lobster. I made use of an offer which was advertised for residents of the Radisson Hotel attached to the restaurant. The offer provided a free half bottle of wine and I was asked what I wanted by the waiter, after some confusion about the offer, and when I asked what was available he suggested the Malbec which I accepted. As half bottles aren't available I was given it in two glasses, but halfway through the first glass I was effectively told off by another waiter for choosing the Malbec when the offer only covered house wine. My explanation that I was offered the Malbec feel on deaf ears and I was told the second glass would be house wine. It then became apparent that my order, despite being placed shortly after sitting down, had never reached the kitchen. This resulted in a 40 minute wait for the steak, during which communication from the waiting staff was minimal and an apology was only forthcoming when I suggested one might be appropriate. When the steak finally arrived I also suggested they might want to review the bill when it was presented. When I received the bill no adjustment had been made, and when I raised this with the waiter who had scolded me over the incorrect wine he told me he had already let me off the cost of the Malbec. When I explained that that wasn't my error he simply told me to not pay the service charge. For the sake of brevity, I eventually negotiated 20% off the food with the manager, which I wasn't particularly happy with but it was clear I wouldn't get anymore.I don't normally leave negative reviews, and if the matter had been resolved correctly I wouldn't have shared this detail. The only saving grace of the whole meal was that the steak was excellent, I really enjoyed the food. But the level of service, communication and general attitude of the staff that work at Steak and Lobster was appalling.
