Decent sweet shop to visit if you’re looking for unique items like imported American sweets. The only downside is it’s not cheap for what it is.

So happy with the amount of American sweets and treats at this location. Strawberry sour patch kids, Fritos, candy corn, wildberry pop tarts and so so SOO much more. Today's shop has truly made my day!

Really lovely sweet shop. We had a night away and got the kids some sweets. They've got classics like fudge and rhubarb and custard to newer stuff like sour patch kids, toxic waste, etc. Staff were really lovely

Every time i visit Southend-on-Sea, i have to pop in...There's never been a time which i haven't purchased at least one item either for myself or another for some reason.The location is near perfect due to it being located in such a great spot, you notice the store from afar which is the plan for the chain.The interior is a dream for those who have a sweet tooth or remembers the old school sweet shops, it matches what you'd expect.The list of what they tend to sell is too long to list but it's ranging from your traditional sweets like those cherry bonbons to their American selection, Hershey's to Laffy Taffy.Staff have been nice from each visit, can't go wrong.So if you plan to visit Southend-on-Sea, you've got to check it out, even if you don't plan to purchase anything, although you really should...

Staff are friendly, helpful and cheerful. Very few Mr Simms olde sweet shoppe about to buy old fashion sweets.
