I can't find any way to praise an employee directly to their higher-up so I'm going to do it publicly. There's an employee who works here called David who is amazing. He is always friendly and helpful every time you walk in and I just want that to be acknowledged.

A brilliant store, with a great selection of different products, good books, from fiction to autobiographies. Also a great range of kids toys too. Staff are always helpful too

I visited here just before 5pm the other day. With some of the shutters partly down, I expected it to be closing, but it was open till 5.30pm. Plus, when you see Sauchiehall street now, can you really blame a store for being security conscious and only half open? I definitely can't - so many junkies and lowlifes in the town centre now - they seem to have multiplied like Covid since Lockdown - and never a police officer around now either.Anyway, moving on; the shop is stocked with alot of items. I found the 2 books I was looking for, but what I did notice is that particular store has far more toys and craft items than most other stores I've visited. For the size of the shop, it had very few books.The guy at the checkout was friendly enough (possibly sarcastically though) and I was glad I paid a flying visit for all of 3 minutes.If you're after a recent book, I'd recommend trying there. I picked up one that was several pounds cheaper than Amazon and hadn't even been published/made available on Amazon yet.Let's try and keep the high street alive, especially bookshops like The Works, Waterstones and W.H. Smith; after all, we often don't appreciate what we have until it's gone - i.e. Woolworths, BHS, C&A, Zavvi, Borders, etc,.

Lots of stuff... Always worth a look as often get bargains on books. Craft and art items available as well as kids toys.

I was out at this store looking for fidget spinners. We found a good range of fidget spinners here, from 5 Arm Mini Finger Fidget Hand Spinner,Multi-Coloured Koachi Finger Fidget Spinner,Metal Ninja Spin Fidget Spinner, the new cube fidget spinners and a lot more. Great place for kids - gifts & toys.

They have heaps of books, puzzles and calendars etc. The prices are quite reasonable.

Great discount shop for stationeries but not much of variety is available especially for pens. Notebooks, A4 sheets, Pukka pad etc. are a cheap deal for sure if you compare with WHS. Big ring binder files are like £1.50 which I think is very much cheaper compared to the online ones.

Friendly and helpful staff and great selection of books, arts an crafts and games for grandkids and grandparents alike

Competitive prices. They have books on low price as well as some stationeries items. However not as many stationery items comoared to ryman or staples.
