My Spanish Tutor

I contacted Nick at the very beginning of the Year 11 when I realised that my son's Spanish grades were much lower than his other GCSE subjects. Nick gave him confidence by teaching him a solid foundation of grammar and vocabulary so he could begin to really use the language successfully and begin to excel in his GCSE. My son was initially unhappy about the idea of online extra lessons but after one session he said he could see that it would benefit him and he felt comfortable working Nick (which is saying something as he can be quite shy with new people). We are waiting on the grades, but the most impressive thing is that now my son has said he wants to continue learning Spanish because he really enjoys it and feels that it is something he is good at. Nick was always very good at communicating and my son enjoyed every lesson.

Nick started to tutor my son for the last term of year 10. At the time he started Tom was on a grade 3 however after an hour a week with homework set by the end of year 10 he got a grade 5/6. In such a short time to make such good progress is amazing. Highly recommended.!

I honestly can't recommend My Spanish Tutor enough. I'll admit I was super nervous before embarking on my 'mid-life' learning ambition, but Nick and Isabelle have made it easy. I love my weekly lessons, challenging myself to learn new skills, and I can already feel myself growing in confidence when speaking and understanding Spanish! Isabelle spent with Oliver few months to prepare him for his GCSE exam.Within those few months she managed to make Oliver fall in love with Spanish, boost his confidence and more importantly improve his grade significantly.As a result Oliver passed his GCSE in Spanish with flying colours.Isabelle is a fantastic tutor and great personality. Nick and Isabelle have been great at getting my daughter excited about learning the Spanish language. They have been extremely supportive given how nervous she was at the start and I can already see that her confidence is building. The school has been very accommodating to some of our requests and I would recommend them as a good language school for secondary school learners.

My son is in Year 8 of a state school in Kingston. He was having online support for GCSE Spanish but it was not helping at all. I found My Spanish Tutor on Google Maps. Nick took the case very well. After a few months, my son moved up to a Merit and performed very well in his end of year exam. They are now ahead of the school and preparing GCSE as we aimed from the beginning.

I had started studying Spanish as a complete beginner with little to nothing of background and struggled with learning languages.
