Ramsdens - Whitewalls - Swansea

I work for a security company & was approached by a young lady who did not speak English. She was trying to find out how to have her sister wire money to her from abroad. The lady’s at Ramsdens were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, & caring. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Thank you.Clive.

I took a gold necklace and ring to Ramsdens. I roughly knew how much I would get by using the internet (£300). They offered me £150 less than I was expected. When I said no thanks they increased their offer by about £30 straight away. I went to Cash Max and got £320. Avoid this company - how many other unsuspecting people are they ripping off.

I was told jewelry was not hallmarked and offered very little. Went to cash for gold in swansea market. Told jewelry was 14 ct and offered 3 times ramsdens offer!!! Do not trust!!!

Bought two gold chains from here and am happy with the items but the staff (manager I think) was very arrogant and cocky, very rude and should definitely not be dealing with customers, I will look at buying elsewhere in future as Ramsdens don't seem to want your custom.

I showed a lady behind counter to see how much my gold was worth 5 items of gold ,then another lady from the other counter turned up asking me to go around partition to other counter ,then she starts to look at my dads chain,i noticed now my grans ring is missing ,so i ask her where is my grans ring gone ,she replied im not doing buisness with you if your accusing me ,she pushed box holding gold items was 3 rings and two chains i end up with two rings ans two gold chains all itms weighed was 64.2 grams ,got home weighed gold 61.4 ,these ladies robbed me

Really pleasant staff, incredibly helpful. Possibly not the best prices on secondhand gold but lots of different options and stock available. They also provide resizing and other jewellery amendments and repairs.

Just want to say how friendly and helpful the girls are in the Swansea branch.. a pleasure to buy or sell foreign currency there.

DO NOT EXCHANGE MONEY HEREFor the sake of your own life do not go inthere to EXCHANGE any money....For 410€ I got 306£ which for which you would get 346£ at cashdeposit just down the road!Sadly I got confused and left the shop before realising for how much I was scammed. When I came back I was told I cant have it back becaus eit would be classed as money laundering.So here I am now, with 40£ less in my pocket, lucky confused student I guess.
