Canton Chef Chinese Cuisine

I 've ordered from here a few times and I've never really had a problem until tonight. My partner orders me a vegetarian dish and the meat alternative arrives but when called to question it he basically calls her a liar. Not the right attitude to correctly run a business in my opinion. Won't bother ordering from here again.

Absolutely awful we ordered takeaway on 17th oct it was over 30 mins late the food was luke warm thw spring rolls and chips not to mention the sesame prawn toast where cold very soggy and and so greasy never eating from there again

Ordered Roast duck Cantonese style on a bed of vegetable + rice on Sunday night - delivered within 25 minutes. Satisfied with my order - delicious and juicy duck. I've lost sense of taste&smell - can't comment much on the taste. Bed of vegetable" apparently meant "bed of chinese cabbage" but I still liked it. Large meal size - enough for 2."

My local regular takeaway. Never had a bad dish from there, range from mild to spicy, always great tasting. Prices great - on average, less than £6 per person.

Ordered through justeat just before 7pm and the estimated time for delivery was 7:55pm. Around 8pm they changed their update on justeat website saying enjoy food(assuming it’s been delivered. I waited for almost an hour and food hasn’t arrived yet. Called the restaurant twice and reception keeps on saying waiting for driver and then said another 10 minutes. The food arrived almost 9pm but it was still a bit warm. Food was good but the service and delivery time were not that great.

AMAZING STUFF!! Amazing quality of a take out food for such a good price!! Great service with a very nice receptionist too!Best take out i've tried in England since all my years here :)Would definitely recommend!! All my kudos to this place !

Used the Canton Chef for the first time last Saturday and have been meaning to write this review ever since. Service and deliver excellent and the food was frankly superb. Looking forward to using them again.

Always eaten here and have the rule, if they deliver it will take ages and they will keep fobbing you off if you chase but if you pick up it's pretty decent. Called through to order today and the phone was picked up, I was asked to wait and did so for a couple of minutes. When he returned I started my order and there was some confusion after first couple of items ordered due to noise so I asked him to read back what he had so far only to be told he didn't have time to! Ok for me to wait a couple of minutes earlier so my time doesn't matter.Very rude and abrupt. We order a few times a month from here so why be a knob to regulars? One star as I just asked him not to be rude and not to bother. I am just off to find another place to try.

A real shame, always order from here as in general quality meat. Ordered steak in black pepper sauce....no flavour and I could not eat any of the steak at all as it was chewy fat! See photo. £9 for a lump of gristle! What was most disappointing is that we order regularly £30 each time and when I called to complain, the not very Chinese man said just don't order it again".
