Quite an expensive place for what you're served. Food is ok. Your clothes get that fishy smell. The place is fine, good service. You're asked to leave an additional 10% for the service but it's up to you.

Stopped in for a late lunch. Had vegetable soup and it was very good. Ordered the scallop starter as my main and it may have been the best scallops I have ever eaten. Perfectly cooked and served with black pudding & bacon and a delicious sauce and micro-greens for garnish but they too were delicious. It was unexpected to be served such a high end dish in a casual eatery. Kudos to the chef!

We ate here twice. The chips are gluten free as standard, and fried in rapeseed oil. There are veggie/vegan options too (unfortunately not gluten free).Hubby got haggis & chips and it was a huge portion. Kids sausage & chips were a good size too.

After being turned away for a walk-in at the pub up the road, my partner and I walked into The Seaforth without a booking, we were warmly welcomed to the busy restaurant and the lovely ladies found us a table and took our order straight away. The scallops are sensational and our waitress recommended the mussels…. I wasn’t disappointed!Fantastic service, great atmosphere and delicious, fresh seafood… we couldn’t have asked for better!

Great location, good vibe friendly staff BUT terrible food, like change your cook asap. The staff is super friendly, the place is nice we had a good cider at the bar. But then we ordered food. Scallops were okay but dressing was bad (scallops is supposed to be something fine), but the worse was the burger. Even the prison cook might do better burger, the bread was horrible, the meet industrial and low quality, no cheese or nothing great. Just a small tomatoes and a bit of salad. Look at the photo. And they ask… for 20£ the burger…

Braved the rain for dinner - sat in the outside section and had a fantastic fish and chips with a couple of cold beers. Staff were friendly and the food was hot and tasty, and it all arrived quickly. Well worth a visit!

Consistently good on a few visits, excellent staff, open all day and one of best in town.Sarah and the team at Seaforth have been brilliant every time I’ve visited, excellent for families, groups and solos alike. Food really excellent. Chip shop attached so volume alone it’s straight off the boat and into the pan…

We came to ullapool at the end of a Scottish holiday that included Glasgow Edinburgh and Aberdeen. This was the most expensive meal on our whole trip and really poor for value for money.£20 for very average fish and chips. By comparison, at the ashvale restaurant in Aberdeen we had the best fish and chips on our trip for less.£7 for a pint. By far the most drink and more expensive than even London£2 for a pint of soda. Everyone else we had a soda it was free£180 for 5 of us including drinks. We could have had much the same from the excellent chippy round the corner, and a pint at the local pub for half that price. In fact- the 5 of us had a much more enjoyable curry with drinks for £50 less in Hampstead, London, one of the priciest parts- so how do the owners get off charging more than London???Nor were we paying extra for atmosphere and ambience" because there wasn't any..I'm from Ross-shire and really disappointed to have been so ripped off in my own county."

Stopped for lunch in Ullapool, on the way home from the North West Coast, as we have done for about 20 years. Sadly the smaller chip shop facing harbour was closed. The menu in here seemed to be smaller than before. Ordered 2 fish suppers and 2 chicken nugget suppers to take away.Nuggets turned out to be mixed frozen supermarket varieties, 8 in box. This was £8.95. We drove to park less than 5 minutes away, and by this time, grease from the fish was running out the box, over clothes and car. The fish should have been left to crisp up, and then it would have been lovely. Fish itself was nice enough, but batter so soggy it stuck to box.The chips, however, must have been double cooked as barely any potato on inside and hard on outside. They tasted as if the oil needed to be changed, and the box was full of scrapings of chips/ batter.Poor quality for the price of £12.95.

We walked in early to secure a table around 18:00 and it was quite easy, even if there aren’t tables they offer to sit you at the bar to have a drink whilst waiting.Menu I must say was very pricey however the quality of food that came out was nice so that’s was a relief. We didn’t have much other choices so was happy at the end of it.We ordered the entree scallop, skink and the prawn pasta all quite tasty and well presented.Service was great, the staff friendly and attentive. Star rating deducted simply from a value for money perspective.
