Green Earth Gardens and Ecology

Tom has kept the 1 acre gardens at my house for 2 years now. I’m mostly absent as it’s a rental property and Tom has my absolute trust to work independently. He handles both the routine mowing, pruning, clearance etc and the design and planting aspects. We work really well together by photo messaging, Tom always checking in to suggest ideas and agree budget. I’d recommend Tom without hesitation

Tom of Green Earth Gardens has been attending to my gardens{front and back} for about two years .I have found him to be most attentive at all times and have never had the need to be disappointed with his work.Although the two gardens are small Tom has treated them in no different fashion than he would were they two or three tims larger.He has at all times been very careful in the execution of his work, and I thoroughly recommend him..He is both honest and trustworthy.

In our garden there has been an increase already this year in butterflies and bees so I'm really please the planting and selection of plants Tom has made enabling me to keep our garden natural in creating habitats for insects, mulching and careful pruning. Looking forward to the meadow flower area developing and flowering in the next few monthsTom provides an excellent service, great advice and design to give you a relaxing rural country garden.

Tom’s task was not easy! To make sense of an acre of overgrown woodland and to help us draw up a plan for managing it sustainably. We are new to this kind of challenge and Tom’s diligent and insightful and detailed analysis and report has been so useful (especially the species list) and our guiding light going forward.

Tom has completely transformed our garden from a gravel mess into a beautifully diverse and green space. We don't have a massive garden, and we were working to a budget, but Tom was full of clever and thoughtful ideas, even re-purposing existing features of the garden to create a beautiful wildlife pond. We now have hedgehog houses, fruit trees, a herb garden, and even a den for our three year old, all incorporated into the natural design. Tom is knowledgeable about local wildlife and native plants as well. We continue to have Tom visit to maintain our garden, and find him friendly and professional. Would highly recommend.

Tom helped to advise on, and then plant & maintain, a lovely herb garden for me, making use of an otherwise redundant mound containing the roots of a large tree. He has fantastic ideas and a great knowledge of what to plant to encourage wildlife including butterflies and the like, and is always on the alert for economical ways to achieve the desired results!

We are absolutely delighted with the garden Tom and his team have created from our rough new build garden plot.He gave us all the items on our wish list on a limited budget. His knowledge of wildlife, permaculture and design is extensive and we wait for Spring with great anticipation to see the plants flourish and wildlife attracted to our little plot.
