I cant thank Simon enough for getting me through my first half Ironman.I started off with a bike that had never been serviced, was poor fitting and I had no Idea where to start in making it race ready.Not only did he sort my bike, advise, source and fit a saddle that was comfortable, loan me a set of sick wheels and set my cleats up so my knees and feet were tracking properly, he was also on hand to answer ANY questions I had.... and I had lots!I feel I have gone from a total newbie to someone who is now confident on the bike, and confident in how my bike performs.I couldn't recommend The Spokesman enough

Simon rebuilt the free hub on a Mavic Ksyrium Elite when l expected to replace it, did so very promptly, and charged much less than expected... Highly recommended for his skill, knowledge and integrity, l will definitely use him again.

Simon built a wheelset for my commute bike. First-class service. Turnaround was very quick using quality parts for the build. The new wheels have transformed the bike which now rolls really well and feels solid. Highly recommend.

Yessssssss !!!!! First set of Carbon wheels and MEGA excited. I met Simon through a recommendation off another recommendation ! Super easy to get on with and could have chatted with him all day ! Sorry Simon :)Simon gave me lots of advice then came up with the perfect package for a new set and even managed to get them out to me in the Caribbean !He also serviced my current wheels while I was in the UK.Super happy and can't wait to ride the new wheels/Thanks Simon :)

A massive thanks to Simon at The Spokesman for building up these DT Swiss GR1600 gravel wheels and matching them with some Vittoria Mezcal3 graphene tyres. I can’t wait to get them on the gravel tracks and fire roads in the Lakes and Dumfries & Galloway soon. Thanks for all your expertise. Your eye for detail is second to none.

I wanted a wheelset for a drop bar 29er I'm building up (a Tumbleweed Stargazer), and Simon laced up a pair of beauties: Stan's Mk4 Arch rims, a DT Swiss 240 hub on the rear, and a Son 28 dynamo hub on the front. He was great to work with, quick to respond to any messages, and he's built a wheelset that I'm sure will endure some fantastic adventures. Highly recommended.

I had a bend rear wheel which was almost touching the right side of my bike frame and also it was making a clicking sound when bike is coasting. Simon true my wheels, put a new QR skewers and charge me at a very reasonable price. Now my rear wheel is sitting straight and the clicking sound is gone. If you have problems with your bike wheel Simon is the guy to fix it for you. Thanks Simon.
