I recently moved to the London area and have been searching for the right salon to get my hair done and I could not be happier with my decision to go to The Chapel. I went to Zoe for color and she is truly a miracle worker, the best color and style I have received. I will continue to go to The Chapel for the service is superb. The atmosphere is radiant and soothing. It was not only a first class salon but also a spa where every service was tapered to your preference, ensuring the highest level of pampering. All the stylist seem to really care about their clients, not rushing, and are genuinely invested in helping their clients achieve their beauty aspirations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great color, great service, and great ambience.

I had such a wonderfully positive experience at the chapel. I was recommended to go there by a friend who is a regular customer and I'm so completely thrilled that I did! My hair was damaged with bleach and Sian did the most beautiful job treating my hair, blending it and putting on a toner and I think the result is perfect. I have always been fussy about my curly hair as it needs careful cutting and now I am older I am also dealing with the dreaded grey! I get turned off by salons for not doing a good job, and as I get older for looking down their nose because I am not hip or young enough to grace their doors. Frustrated with trying to find the right salon after a move back to London I decided to try The Chapel in Islington and I am in love! From the moment I emailed about an appointment I was made to feel special. Andy called me to help me get the right time to suit and then Hazel - are there enough words to describe Hazel! I went in to meet her first and she spent time getting to know me and working out “the vision” for my hair. The actual appointment was a dream. The whole experience is so relaxing and Hazel worked her magic. She is enjoyable to spend time with (very important when you are together for several hours) and most importantly I felt like she knew exactly what she was doing. She cut my hair beautifully and gave me a great colour that complements my skin tone and makes my eyes pop. Overall this is probably the best salon experience I have ever had, and over the years I have been to some of the most well known places in London and New York. I have found my home and I can’t wait for the next appointment!

I have been coming here for years and I’ve never had a bad haircut. I’ve been to multiplie different hair stylists and I always come away happy. The customer service is also hands down the best in London. Wine, tea, coffee and a little treat is always offered. Usually homemade too! Love this place!

Sean was amazing!He gave me the best haircut I have had in 20 years and fantastic ongoing advice as I live overseas.I will highly recommend him to all my friends when they visit London. The only downfall is that I cannot visit him regularly.

Best haircut I’ve ever had, Emmy knew exactly what I wanted and was so lovely. Also loved the little treats they give you whilst you’re getting your haircut! Highly recommend.

My go-to haidresser since I moved to London 5 years ago. I love the space, it's very relaxing, not at all like the other noisy hair salons. Throughout the years I've worked with a few hair dressers and they have all been great, mostly because they listen to what you want and they're talented to make it happen.

Few businesses deserve praise these days, fewer still a review, but The Chapel certainly deserve both! I couldn’t even consider going anywhere else after having been to the Islington and Verbier salons. Fab experience with Amy a few weeks back. She absolutely transformed my awful grown out bleach colour and cut into a chic and manageable bob. From initial consultation to aftercare, the experience was fantastic and I felt welcomed and listened to in terms of what I wanted. The team were super transparent on what could be achieved and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Great salon and great service!
