Shropshire Acupuncture - Amanda Bedding

I tore my Vastus Medialis muscle in 3 places carrying heavy fencing up some steep steps. The pain just lingered for several months, one day I would feel like It was improving then the next day it would be as bad as ever. After getting through several boxes of ibuprofen and doing physiotherapy exercises but not getting anywhere, I decided to give Amanda a chance. The immediate results were incredible. The extra movement in my knee was obvious as soon as I got off the couch for the first session. I only needed a few sessions to enable me to gain full movement and walk pain free again. I think it’s the combination of intense massage with the acupuncture and electricity which seems to immediately send the blood flowing to the inflamed area. I was amazed how Amanda knew exactly where the injury occurred and can pin point where my intense painful spots were. To anyone who has injured themselves, I would thoroughly recommend seeing Amanda - if this treatment is suitable for you, I’m sure you will notice an improvement after just one session. Amanda is very friendly and professional and gave me great ideas to build more exercise into my life. My only wish was I had discovered her as soon as I injured myself rather than suffering for so many months.

I can whole heartedly recommend Amanda. She is very knowledgeable and the treatments are effective and totally relaxing. There is no pressure to book lots of sessions and Amanda is calm and kind and not at all pushy. The treatment room is clean, comfortable and felt covid safe. I would not hesitate to seek her help again if I ever need to.

Before meeting Amanda, I had acupuncture for an injury. Nearly losing hope, I decided to try acupunture for my chronic periods. She took her time through the consultation and sent a detailed whole-person approach to help me with my menstrual cycle. I am only on my 4th month but the changes I am seeing are amazing! Healing touch from a knowledgable and skilled practitionerstarsHad been suffering with horrible pain in shoulder and arm for a couple of weeks. It got so bad I knew it wasn’t going to clear up alone. Painkillers were useless. I’d experienced acupuncture 20 years ago when I had frozen shoulders so I felt it would be the right thing to try. Amanda responded immediately (on a Sunday)! when I really couldn’t bear it any more. I saw her on the Monday and she gave me a wonderful therapeutic mix of treatments. Each day since I have felt incrementally better. I had one further treatment today (Friday) and now feel almost as good as new. Keep in mind I couldn’t drive, dress myself or hang out washing when I went at the beginning of the week. She is a miracle worker.
