Bought a carpet from here thought the salesman was very pushy as he jumped on us as soon as we walked in , we intended to buy one anyway so I thought no need to be pushy. Carpet is great now it's down but did not enjoy the shop experience

Brilliant service and a perfect fit. I've used United Carpets for my whole house and had the living room and hall, stairs and landing done so far. I'm looking forward to having the rest of the house done. The carpet is good quality and the fitters were professional and total perfectionists! The guys at United Carpets were also lovely and super helpful; they kept me updated along the way. I'll definitely use this branch of United Carpets in the future.

On our recent visit to the store we found the manager to be very helpful ,taking the time out to discuss the various products on offer.We would also like to thank him for allowing us to take the sample products home to see if they were suitable .Would highly recommend due to his attention to detail , even making a couple of phone calls to answer queries we had .

Good choice of flooring available however the fitting service is shoddy at best! The staff in store don't want to be there and aren't exactly helpful. I managed to find what I was looking for, but was told I couldn't have a sample because apparently when you buy a carpet you can't take samples home. Then when I asked if I could pay a deposit and the balance when the work was done, they said argos dont let you pay after - you buy first. This was a pointless (and strange) conversation as they were making no sense at all. Anyway, the fitters were good guys but their workmanship was horrendous - part of the reason I wanted to pay the balance after completing. A few months down the line I've had them back twice! Now they tell me they wont be back. The carpet has come away from the door strip and they've refused to repair - despite this being as a result of their incompetence. I wouldn't shop here again and advise that if you do shop here, keep an eye on the fitters and make sure you're happy with their workmanship.

Brilliant service at short notice ! Supplied and laid great quality vinyl in my apartment within a week of my ordering it. Really good quality workmanship in laying it and everyone very friendly and helpful from shop to measuring up to fitters - on a Saturday afternoon ! Highly recommended. Thanks !

I HAVE PURCHASED ALL MY CARPETS FROM UNITED AND ALWAYS RECEIVED EXCELLENT SERVICE AND VALUE FOR MONEY. A GREAT RANGE FOR BEING ON A LIMITED BUDGET BUT ALSO HAVE HIGH QUALITY HEAVYWEIGHT CARPETS AT GREAT PRICES TOO. NO MATTER WHETHER IT'S JUST THE CARPET OR COMPLETE PACKAGE THEY'RE ALWAYS OBLIGING. EASY TO DEAL WITH AND NOT PUSHY LIKE SOME CAN BE LIKE. WELL DESERVED 5 STARS. HAPPY TO SUPPORT MY LOCAL BUSINESSES.

Bought vinyl from these guys, all was good until the fitter turned up and refused to do the job. Fitter swore at my wife and threw the rolled up vinyl on our driveway. We called United carpets and they were equally as rude. Small businesses like this, who need the local custom to stay afloat, should really have some kind of customer service training. We won't be using them again and we'll be advising everyone we know about this. Keep up the desperate #% off sales guys, one day this kind of service will close down your shop. Cheers :-)

Got what we were looking for here. We wanted vinyl floor for the shower room. The lady that served us was very helpful. They also arrange fitting through independent fitters. Good shopping experience.

Excellent service. Dealt with Mick Hammer who made sure that we got all the information. Would 100% recommend.
