Honda HQ

I'm the owner of this S2000 and when I realised the extent of the damage caused, trying to locate a garage with the knowledge and expertise to repair it, was a daunting task. I had never used Honda HQ previously, but reading their feedback and seeing previous engine rebuilds on their page, gave me the confidence to send my car to them. From day one, Dan has been fantastic, keeping me up to date with what was happening and sending photo's and videos of the progress. I picked the car up on Thursday and she is running like a dream. I am on strict instructions to keep below 5000 revs for 500 miles and then back for another oil and filter change, the 3rd since they rebuilt it. Then hopefully many more years of enjoying this beautiful car. I cannot recommend Honda HQ and Dan especially for everything they have done, they truly are a credit to the motor trade and to anybody who owns an Honda, this garage should be at the top of your list. I travelled 80 miles to get here, but on the day I picked the car up, someone was in from Luton and another from Preston, to me that speaks volumes. I also got a memento of my mishap, which makes a nice display piece, of my old camshaft, just waiting for a display plinth to arrive to finish it off. Once again thanks Dan for everything.

Phoned Honda HQ enquiring how much to do valve clearances on my car and when they could get me booked in. But was instantly put off by their ignorant phone manner and attitude towards potential customers once they realised it wasn’t a big money job I was enquiring about and was told wouldn’t be able to get done for approximately 2 months from that date. In the end went directly to Honda Solihull and got booked that same week with free health check and full complementary valet.

Best Honda specialists in the UK hands down, had my ep3 for a big job (chain, chain guides and tensioner, new eibach pro springs, caster poly bush on front, new ball joints, new drop in links and valve clearances) and they started the job at 9.30 and finished at 2 in the same day, these really do a quick and very very good job, very good prices also !!! If you have a honda this is the place for you, awesome guys ! The only drawback is the long wait to get a free spot, but that only tells you how popular these guys are, and they are so busy because everyone is trying to get their cars done with them !

I've been bringing Hondas to Matt and Dan at Honda HQ for a couple of years now, Civic FN2 Type R's and a MK3 petrol CRV.From the first visit the guys were great, pointing out any issues, showing any faults, suggesting parts, and offer a great chat as well.Part of the reason I've stuck with the Honda brand amongst them being a generally good car, is knowing HQ are able to provide such a good service.From an oil and filter service, to cam chain changes, I genuinely can not recommend HQ enough, fantastic garage and specialist.
