Visited David James Used cars very recently having spoken to David on the phone regarding helping my son purchase a car. My son had very specific requirements and a car advertised by DJ fitted the bill.I am a little dubious at times regarding Google reviews however I am happy to say all reviews bar the odd one are pretty accurate. He is professional, provides a reassurance of the sale, no hard sell and inspires confidence in the buying process.My son was provided with a decent test drive, which as a result, purchased the car there and then. The warranty offered by David provides a level of protection that is reassuringMy son left pretty chuffed over his first experience of dealing with a ‘second hand car dealer.I would definitely recommend David if looking for a second hand car.Thanks Dave.

My wife brought our used car from david James's car motor he was very polite and reassuring with all the details he sorted all the papers work no problem fetched my old car from home nothing was no Problem for him would very much recommend this car sales motors

Purchased an Audi A3 59 reg (blue auto) as a local daily reliable car over 6 months ago and usually placed my reviews a while after the purchase. David is a good local honest car dealer and having spoken to him during the test drive he has a lot of experience in car sales. I had a small issue with the car to which David was more than reasonable to assist which is great and the reason why I bought via trade. Keep up the good work David! Thanks

We purchased a Mini Cooper from David. He was helpful and polite on initial enquiry and collected my Husband from the train station to view the car. David arranged to clean the alloy wheels up and also buffed out some scratches on the paintwork.With all used cars things go wrong sometimes, there were a few little issues with the car that cropped up once we got the car home. David's after care was admirable and he is a man of his word, he did exactly what he said he would and went above and beyond to get sort out the issues get the car back to me. We live in Manchester, some distance from David, and he personally drove the car back to me when my husband was unable to collect it as a a sickness bug had hit the household. David really cares about his business and it's clear to see he puts his heart and sole into it. He would be my first contact when buying another used car. Thanks DavidMichelle

Visited David after seeing a car on Autotrader, car wasn't quite right for us as we wanted a different spec. David went away and sourced exactly what we wanted (with some extras we hadn't considered too) and within 2 weeks we had the keys and at an amazing price considering the time and effort involved in sourcing the car. A absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish, no pushy sales approach, just an honest and genuine chap! Will certainly be back when we are ready to upgrade! Highly recommended!

Husband and I came to David James not so long ago. Service was exceptional, there was no pushy sale tactics. It's been 8 months since I bought my car from David and I am very happy to recommend. I searched the local area online for a mini and David had a pale blue one for sale, a phone call and arrangement for a test drive on the Saturday actually left me driving it home within an hour or so after organising insurance. David was helpful and a pleasure to do business with. When a fault occurred under warranty David was most helpful and purchased and arranged for a part to be fitted by a very friendly and approachable garage just down the road (who I would also recommend). I absolutely love my mini and thank you David for making the whole process so easy. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.
