Excellent service! Needed to get Barbour jacket sleeve linings replaced - changed to cotton (not an easy job!). Barbour quoted several weeks turnaround - but Elegant Stitches did it in one week (as promised) at a sensible price. Top quality job - great customer service. Thoroughly recommend.

So very impressed with the job done on a dress of mine. The formal dress needed a few inches adding to the sides in order to make it fit correctly and I'd previously been told it was a huge undertaking. After visiting Elegant Stitches, fabric was taken from the skirt sides and my dress came back looking immaculate, fitting to my exact measurements. Very reasonable price and had it ready in under a week. Incredible service and I can't wait to wear my dress. I will definitely be back! Thank you so much for your help!

Needed a new zip fitting to an equine body protector. This is not easy and I'm very impressed by the fitting service. They went out of their way to source and purchase the correct size zip and it looks actually better than the original. Excellent all-round experience thank you.

Used this fantastic service for the first time for an alteration on my daughter’s prom dress. It was a heavily sequinned dress and needed shortening. The gentleman in the shop was most helpful and the job was completed in a couple of days. The cost involved was very competitive and I would have no hesitation in recommending this shop - will definitely use again.

Fantastic experience and service from start to finish. The gentleman was so helpful when enquirying about prom dress alterations. He altered the dress perfectly even changing the bottom hem to be higher at the front than the back. Definitely recommend Elegant Stitches and I will be returning for my wedding alterations!
