Impressed with the service and amazing staff , I even had a lunch box and a coffee , when I asked where can I get something to eat, well done … the Nottingham hospitals whether Queen or City , I have only had the best experience and everyone was really polite

This place used to be good. I used to be able to call up and be triaged when I was suffering with bad gynaecology issues. But apparently they changed their protocol ‘again’ and they no longer care about the people who end up being referred.

I unfortunately had an ectopic pregnancy. I thought I was being overly dramatic about my symptoms and thought they would brush me off, but I was taken seriously from the moment I called. I found out my pregnancy was ectopic less than 24 hours after my initial call. Decided I didn’t want surgery and opted to try medication first - my wishes were respected and when the medication didn’t work, surgery was arranged more or less straight away.The NHS don’t get everything spot on but they were definitely there in my time of need and they made sure I was safe and looked after.

I was admitted to the Gyn ward with severe right side abdominal pain after finding through 3 scans, 2 trans vaginally and 1 abdominal scan that I had a cyst on my right ovary. I had been in A&E from 5am to 7pm in the evening over 12 hours, but they treated me well in A&E no complaints not even about the long hours wait for all blood ,ecg tests etc. Once admitted in Gynaecology Ward again the staff and nurses tried their best to make me as comfortable as possible and treat me in a person centredway not just number on a bed. However the Two Doctor's I was sadly to end my stay there ruined my whole experience in the watd. They had xero empathy, zero compassion and eete lscking in sny kind of human emotion. I was left feeling sad, upset vulnerable in extreme pain snd clueless at what they were trying to say their communication level was pathetic and the porters ctscan team and nurses apologised to me ko their behalf. I had to speak my truth snd told thrm what I felt and how these two individuals had turned the good experience into an awful nightmare and I would rather die than return and see these two fake horrific cold manquin of so called doctors.The other Doctors I had seen in the week stay I had -Dr Ali and Dr Kong had been excellent,the listened attentively, understood my history of ovarian cancer and being fast tracked into having key hole surgery in 2017i n London.They felt my concern and tried to do everything to make me pain free while trying to find a solution and cause for my pain. They gave me correct pain management and I was comfortable, whilst we waited for results of MRI Scan, was it a re-occurance of OC or something else Very very upsetting and sad for me that on the day I needed the most support from Empathetic Doctors I received the opposite. The MRI Scan and CTScsn came back with same result nothing othrr than the cyst on my ovary. These two incompetent doctors even suggested it could be ky kydney or kudney stones even sfter explaining in detail my history of OC and Emergency Op to remove all dangerous cancerous or benin things from my tummy. I told the lady Dr as I left the ward with my belongings snd husband that she had no empathy, she was cold as ice and did not have a clue she was an emotional ly repressed or overworked dr that should not be yreating vulnerable in serious pain patients. Totally useless both of these doctors I dont know their full names but I will be making an official complaint aout yhese two people who ruined my end at the lovely Gyne in patient ward. i would not let them treat my animals nevermind a human! I will find the solution to my pain and im 95% sure it's the ovarien cyst. Just like last time. I am left now eith with no option but togo see my lovely GP tell her what happened, do an official complaint and get healthy again via correct diagnosis and treatment and pain management. These two individuals insensitive cruel people saw me cry like a haby in pain yet did nothing to treat my pain in a professional adequate systematic way, like Dr Kong and Dr Ali had done in the previous days. I stayed from Tuesday to Monday, I walked out myself this afternoon after speaking and telling my truth. Most patients in my ward and nurses had become my friends and new my story. They were happy I spoke my truth and left.
