I enjoyed Noodle Alley. For the price I had no complaints. Food was tasty. Service was good. The food was fairly authentic. Spiciness is on the milder side but still has all the flavour. Will suite people that can't handle too much heat.

Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but we got 4 dishes and all of them were very average.- Ribs (not much flavor)- Pork Belly (the pork belly falls flat and when the cucumbers are the best part of a meat dish… if not that great of a meat dish.)- Pork Dumplings w/ Chili (the best dish we had and still very average. Best best of the four.)- thick handmade noodles. (I thought these would be thick as in wide, but rather it was these long strings of unflavored noodle. The sauce was not impressive.)Staff were excellent ! Very kind and gracious!

I really enjoyed the vibe of the place & the staff seemed very friendly. Our enthusiastic waitress went out of her way to show a photo of every single dish on the menu to us via her iPad; although I'm not sure if this was a great use of her time. A better solution would be to put photos of dishes on the menu if they really feel this is a necessary part of choosing a dish. The food was quite good. I got the beef noodle which was well seasoned. The pieces of beef were fatty & delicious. However I was a little disappointed that the noodles themselves did not seem hand made or particularly special. My friend got a dry noodle dish which again, although well flavoured was not particularly out of the ordinary.I would definitely come back and give it another try though.

Ticking off another place on my to-go list. Came here to catch up with some friends.Friendly and attentive staff all the way through. Interior design looked amazing. Simple and genuine Chinese style but not outdated or too modern. Just got the right balance! We ordered Crispy Tofu with Spicy Chilli Sauce (包漿豆腐), Pork Dumplings with Sweet & Spicy Sauce (鍾水餃), Burning Noodles (宜賓燃面), House Special Rice Noodles with Steamed Beef (粉蒸牛肉酸菜米線), and Fried Sticky Rice Cake Strips with Brown Sugar Syrup (紅糖糍粑). Everything came at reasonable time. Made fresh, hot in temperature and were delicious! It's definitely very different for those who are used to Cantonese cuisine or places that serve generalised Sichuan cuisine which are catered for the western taste. This place offers authentic local Sichuan cuisine so expect a lot of Sichuan peppercorns and other spices that give you another kind of flavours to your taste buds. The dishes are value for money as the portion is big. We shared everything between the three of us and the total was £50 (£16.67 per person). The cutest thing I've seen was the panda sweets when we paid for the bill.Highly recommend this place if you want to try authentic local Sichuan cuisine.

I traveled to Manchester and craved for some authentic Sichuan food. Walking around in Chinatown, their menu and decor attached me. The two dishes I ordered were both perfect balance of spicy and savory notes. Portions are generous, too. This becomes one of the highly of my trip. Will highly recommend this restaurant!

One of the best noodle restaurants I've tried in a long time. The food was flavourful and the spice level was spot on for me and my Mrs. They are also very generous with their portions so be careful you don't over order! The staff were very friendly and the service was quick (we went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was packed). We highly recommend this place and will be coming back to try out the desserts!

First time there in a group of 5. That restaurant layout is geared towards smaller groups, so they had to add a chair to the end of the carriage booth. The menu is fairly limited. Our group ordered 3 mains and 3 small plates. Then 2 desserts at the end. I was stuffed at the end. The food is pretty good, very different to the usual Chinese menu even for Chinatown, which is exactly what we hoped. All the dishes were very spicy, so only recommended four people who can take their chillies. The bill came to £94 for the 5 of us, but we shared, and only had tea, so if you ordered your own dish, plus drinks, and dessert it will be a lot more.

I was blown away how nice the food and service was here. Hands down the most authentic and mind blowing noodles I’ve had in a long long time. Even told the owner it was as good if not better than my mothers! The level of heat was just perfect and there was chilli oil and black vinegar on the side to addMade a suggestion to add some roast meats to them menu which will give more variety to their menu. The pork and garlic dumplings are a must! So fresh!!This will be added to me and my friends rotation of Manchester restaurants!See you soon !
