Great coach and teachers, very family orientated with a very clean gym and equipments. Highly recommend for various different martial arts and now they’ve started screen combat to their itinerary for the filming industry. It’s fun and they have an amazing team that helps in all levels. Master Alex is one of the best teachers I’ve ever worked with.

I'll start off with saying the gym is awesome. It has all the facilities you require to grow as a martial artist. The teaching here is amazing, it has made me aware of weaponry how to use them and disarming. But hybrid FMA has taught me dedication and discipline

Hybrid FMA is an excellent place to study martial arts. Master Alex and his senior students are extremely talented and inspirational teachers, while the general training environment always feels helpful and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is not a gym to invest in. I lent Alex the owner £6k going back about 6 years now. This was allegedly for sticks, a 2k electricity bill and various other things which I now question the validity of. 80% of the time I have to chase him up for his repayments. I also doubt there will be any interest paid to me either. I'm commenting on here as there is no response from other avenues. He will block you when he gets fed up with reminders. Do not lend Alex or Hybrid Fma money, once you start he wants more and more!

I'm in my mid 50's and dabbled over the years in different martial arts. I was worried I'd be too old to start training and didn't want to get injured as I don't recover as fast as I did in my youth. Master Alex was very patient on the phone and invited me to try a class and see. He is very approachable, humble and an all-round nice guy but he can do the business. The other instructors are also very patient and always happy to help you learn. The atmosphere is warm welcoming and you can train at your own pace. So if you want to learn in safe welcoming gym come on down.

I have been training here for close to 5 months, travelling from Surrey once a week. It is so much more than worth the dedication. Wonderful environment, patient instructors, that have been trained by Master Alex to truly imbibe this art the way his ancestors from Cebu would be so proud of. All ages welcome, obviously younger students may prefer attending the Saturday morning class, as classes all other days run from 7-9 pm.
