We called Andrew Sykes to provide us with air conditioning units after our supplier let us down for one of our events.We rang at 3.45pm and by 6am the following morning, we had 4 engineers and 8 units on their way to be fitted in our seminar rooms.Sky and Martyn at Andrew Sykes couldnt have been any more helpful - they gave excellent advice, stayed in constant contact, updated us through out and somehow - found the units plus staff plus transport and delivered them to our event and installed them by 9.30am the following day - from initial call to the units up and running was less than 17 hours!!Steve and his team of engineers were amazing on site and we only paid for what we needed, they bought loads of kit down to help us out and simply took back what we didnt need with no fuss and no charge.I cant recommend this company highly enough!!!Thanks to all involved.Helen

Adam at Andrews Sykes has helped me out hugely this last year. Not only specifying the correct heaters for the areas needed, but also managing to supply them in a very short space of time. The install team are fantastic, everything arrived on the right day at the right time and was installed perfectly. Top marks - a really nice company to deal with and always go out of their way to accommodate.

We needed some heaters to increase the heat in our warehouse for one day while the newly painted floor was done. The local sales guy came and looked around, we took his recommendation of which heaters we needed. I told him clearly our requirements. need for one day in which he said they need a min of 1 weeks rental. so we agreed on the price and that was it. We used the heaters for the one day we needed and placed to one side. With covid I have not been into work while to work to the warehouse was being completed, when i did i noticed that the heaters were still there, I called the local manger to say that they have not picked them up. he apologies for not getting them and they picked up the next day. It was all sorted until they hit us with a £3500 bill for over rental. I called the local manager who said that he would speak with head office and get the bill cancelled as he never told us that they would need to OFF hire the equipment. Head office refused and threatened court action is we did not pay. after months of threats we ended up having to pay the bill as we could risk any bad credit or backlash should a judge not see where we were coming from. Worse company to deal with as one person saying one thing and another saying something else. I will not be using this company again

We contacted Andrew Sykes to put together a contingency plan for heating in our main stores and Emma Wilson was very helpful came to site to look at our requirements. We were able to put the plan/costs to our client within 3 days who was extremely grateful that we had a plan if we ever needed to quickly have a temporary solution to supply heating into the main stores

Andrew Sykes were really helpful from the moment I contacted them on Friday evening to organise an AHU hire heater, Emma was able to attend the site first thing on Monday for a survey and we had the unit in and running by Thursday. Great service, got me around a major issue and highly recommended.

Happy to review my first approach with Andrew Sykes Customer service below.The start wasn't great, and we all know first impression matters specially when you need a quick service and only for a short time, but I'm glad to say they did make it up to me in the end. after few phone calls everything was solved and they have been very helpful in find a solution to accommodate my requests.I would recommend and use them again if needed.untrusted. the day I've called to hire the AC units they said they were going to be with me within 1h30m..it was 10am I've received the units at 4.30pm. the morning after one of the hose broke, I gave them a call asking for a replacement and a guy from the depot advise it was going to be sometime during the afternoon and was going to give me a call at lunch time to advise the timings. in the afternoon I had to call them twice after finding out nobody was actually coming, it's been two days and I'm still waiting for somebody to come and replace the hose. I've paid for 2 units for a week and I ended up with only 1 unit working for the past 2 days.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Natasha Clarke of the London (Charlton) office with the hire of certain items. Even though I have placed Natasha under pressure on a regular basis, the service has been outstanding. Based on my recent experience over the past 3 months I would recommend Andew Sykes Hire with confidence. With the lack of service that we all experience over so many industries lately, the experience with Natasha and the Charlton office was refreshing to say the least. Thank you all.

Annie was a great help ordering the right air con units for our temp office - delivery and pick up was also great will definitely order again in the future

Very pleased with the product, the service was generally very good, communication from staff very good, the only improvement I would suggest is that Andrew Sykes look to offer a courtesy call prior to the end of the hire period to establish if the units want to be kept or returned. Ended up incurring extra charges which was not ideal.
