The fitter totally mucked up fitting the carpet and lino as the bar was wonkey and there was bubbles in the lino.After contacting the shop it took 17 days for them to send someone to rectify the problem. They gave a time of between 11 -13.30. At 15.40 my partner rang them as the fitter hadn't arrived and they said the fitter was still at a job and wouldn't be with us until after 17.00. My partner told them about the time slot and they said they give time slots as an estimate but the fitter could actually come at anytime. We had already changed shifts for work that day to do a late so we wouldn't be in after 17.00. They then said they could come 4 days later which wasn't satisfactory. The manager wasn't available to speak to as he was Ill. They then said they would send a fitter the next day and we would be the 1st call. At 10am the fitter still wasn't her. I called the shop and the fitter was still at his 1st job. He did turn up shortly after and this time done a good Job. Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend this company as they never offered any compensation and we had to do all the chasing to find out what was happening. Also the carpet we chose seems much thinner then the one we chose in the shop.

Had lounge carpet fitted today. From measure up with samples delivered, through to Customer Service and fitting the Service was excellent. Well done and I'll be recommending you to friends and family. Thanks

Fantastic and friendly service. They were so helpful and knowledgeable in the shop. The quality of the carpets and underlay is great. So was the fitting. We are so happy with our new carpets. Would highly recommend Carpets Direct.

No customer service.they let us down on the day they were going to fit ,hardly any communication. We were told 3 different times and they cancelled at 3.30 pm.Said they would come at 9am on the next day but started work at 10 15 am. The removal men had to leave the furniture on the path outside until they finished.Will never deal with them again, it’s stressful enough moving without that.

We bought and had our carpets fitted by Direct Carpets recently, there are photographs on their Facebook page. Different management and excellent service. The (still) family business is now managed by Victoria and she is very excited to be serving the community of Hythe & Waterside. The shop has a new look with a bright and warm welcome when you enter. The prices and fitting were perfect for us with an excellent after care service with a call to make sure we were totally satisfied with the work carried out by their Fitters. Highly recommend you call in the shop if you are thinking of replacing one or all of your carpets. We had all the rooms in our bungalow done, which they accommodated in stages. Excellent Job!

Brilliant quality and service, I won’t use anyone else now. Very helpful team especially Victoria, helped me to choose the right carpet for my needs and helped me stay within my budget. They also do monthly payment plans which I think is amazing if you are struggling. Glad to have them on my doorstep
