Africa Odyssey

Another fantastic trip with the help of Asia Odyssey! Dave had helped us create a perfect trip to Africa a few years ago, so we didn't hesitate to contact Asia Odyssey when we wanted to visit Sri Lanka. They did not disappoint. Dave and his team helped us figure out a complicated itinerary, got on the ground advice regarding security and was patient and helpful with every question. The best part about Asia Odyssey is that they don't try to sell you their pre-planned itinerary - they really listen to what you're looking for in adventure, budget and style. I can't wait for the next trip they send us on!

I was to go on a safari for the first time and made a great choice by booking through Africa Odyssey. Everything went smoothly and they were great at answering all my questions before the trip started. As for the actual trip, it was with Norman Carr and came highly recommended by Africa Odyssey. It was a great choice and one of the best travel experiences I've had. I would definitely use them again when traveling to Africa!

Asia Odyssey booked the holiday of a life time for me and my husband to Cambodia and Vietnam. We'd always wanted to see Angkor Wat temple, and they arranged for an excellent to take us around for 3 days. We visited as many temples as we could. The guides knowledge was incredible. They also arranged for us to spend a few days in the Mekong Delta cruising around the small waterways before ending up in the hectic but exhilarating Saigon. The best holiday we have had and already we are looking at when we can return.

A big thank you to the team at Africa Odyssey for organising our amazing African adventure. We travelled as a group of 7 initially to Tanzania (1 person just staying for the first camp), with the rest staying in 4 locations, 2 then headed off for a beach break on Zanzibar, 4 headed to Botswana for more safaris and finally one of us then going onto Victoria Falls before heading home. So lots of moving parts and arrangements to be booked which was no problem to the Africa Odyssey team. Saw plenty of amazing wildlife, took heaps of photos, as well as enjoyed many memorable encounters along the way.

Just back from 10 days in Botswana - my 5th trip there, each one organised by Africa Odyssey. I don't hesitate to recommend this company. Everyone I've spoken to has been really knowledgeable about the different areas and camps and I've really appreciated their candid insights about what each offers. Their planning and organisation are superb and everything happens on the ground as and when it should!

We decided we wanted to honeymoon in Vietnam and invited three agencies to give us some ideas, Dave at Asia Odyssey understood our needs and wishes straight away and we had no hesitation in appointing them. We had the flexibility to tweak a few things without a problem before booking, which allowed us to spend the best three weeks of our lives without a single hiccup. The hotels and suggested trips were all massively appreciated and Dave also managed to secure us a few extras to help celebrate our occasion. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending their services to others. And if you get the chance, GO TO VIETNAM SOON, before it risks getting touristy!!!

Africa Odyssey planned our Honeymoon last June and it was a wonderful experience working with George and his team. They listened to our needs, and gave wonderful suggestions, creating an unforgettable trip of a lifetime. My wife and I will be using them again when we return in the future.

These folks are great, we’ve used their services a few times for trips to sub-Saharan Africa (3 trips so far) and India (1 trip so far). They take the time to listen to your interests, budget, dietary preferences, and physical abilities, yet aren’t afraid to say “no, trust us, you should do THIS. And guess what, I wanted to go to a certain area of Botswana but ended up in a different area, and it’s been my favorite trip to Africa yet. A plus for travelers from the Americas is that you have a U.K.-based agent who is in the same time zone as Africa, we once had a flight problem and they were able to help sort things out on the Africa side so that everything went smoothly upon our eventual arrival.

We had an amazing holiday booked through Africa Odyssey. Marc and the team expertly guided us through the booking process. The safari at Thornybush Game Lodge was fantastic and then a week on the beach at Tsarabanjina which was unbelievable. We are so grateful to Africa Odyssey for all their help in booking this trip and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone planning a similar holiday.

We recently returned from a 9 day Tanzania holiday, one of the best trips we have been on. I found Africa Odyssey through there website. It is one of the best, well organized, easy to navigate, lots of good information. Working closely with there agent we worked out a custom made itinerary fitting our time frame and interests. Had a wonderful time at the camps they recommended and saw many animals and birds. Witnessed the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, an amazing site. If you have interest in going to Tanzania or the Serengeti these are the people to deal with. Very knowledgeable, great recommendations, customized itinerary. You can not go wrong.
