I visited there many times in the past and was pupil at Milton Hall school in the mid60s I have visited it again between 1993 and 2018

An attractive railway station with a lovely historic footbridge. Steam trains including 60103 Flying Scotsman pass through from time to time.

Brampton
Talkin Tarn is a short walk from Brampton station. The footpath could have been signed better but we found the way without too much difficulty and enjoyed our walk round the tarn and refreshments.
