O2 Shop Edinburgh - The Gyle

Very pleasant staff happy to assist even for a friend who is on another network.They also explained my full plan much better than Virgin managed.highly recommend.

Firstly the man who helped me was rude and patronising. Then he didn’t even fully fix my problem as I had to get in touch with an 02 online chat advisor. Won’t be back to Gyle store

My husband was looking to update his phone and just wanted to feel how the phone felt . We were told that wasn't possible and would to wait in a queue. We weren't looking to buy, the guy was adamant that he couldn't help us.

Recently had a problem with my phone network, between EE & O2, EE’s fault I must add, however Amber in this store was very helpful and worked with me until we got to the bottom of it, without her help I would still be stuck just now. Very grateful & appreciate the help from Amber. Asset to the shop! Thanks again

On entering the shop I could see a man to my right hand side . He was stood holding a tablet and I wasn't sure if he was a customer or worked in the shop . The shop was not busy . My brother approached this man and asked if he worked there .Now bare in mind my brother is standing with an Oxygen Cannula on his face and carrying a portable Oxygen concentrator . My brother has not been out to shop for many months either so to receive the unacceptable unprofessional attitude of this employee was disappointingly unbelievable .This employee was dressed in unacceptable scruffy attire and no representation of evidence he was indeed an employee of O2 .He was unhelpful , uninterested and told my brother that there was a 45 minute wait to be seen by an O2 advisor . My brother explained that 45 minute s was too long to wait especially given he is extremely unwell.We left the shop but I went back in to ask this employee why there would be a 45 minute wait and he was defensive in his facial expression and certainly not friendly or polite or even that concerned .According to this employee , he had 14 people in a que detailed on his tablet . Now the shop was empty apart from a lady who seemed she was being attended to by another employee up at the back.of this shop .Apparently he had told the 14 customers to go do shopping and that he would text each one when there was someone to advise them . .Now I thought that was weird but he asked me why " I wanted to know in which I expressed my confusion and my uncomfortable feelings from his defensesive

First time in here.Handing in a Virgin Media Router.Efficient staff sorted me out no issues.

Excellent customer service, sorted me out with what I was looking for, and it was real easy to find the place too

First day I entered this store there was about six staff served easy although didn't get my problem solved ,Thursday I go in again two members of staff,and serving two customers one guy was waiting before me,after about twelve minutes he walks away with his partner another girl comes in stands ten minutes then leaves so I've been waiting about 25 mins now and another customer comes in and walks away this shop has lost 3 potential customers how does 02 make any money,I eventually get seen after a 35 minute wait and the moan it's after six now,and I still didn't get my phone problem fixed if your thinking about going here for a phone,bring a flask and something to eat as you will be here ages

If you want to be talked down to by the most unhelpful condescending employee when you’re trying to actually extend your business contract then go see the highly-strung bald guy we seen today. Customer facing jobs should be distanced from him.

For being an 02 shop customer service was terrible and manager colin very rude and patronisingCommented saying - no effect to his job if im happy or notThen said he was dealing with anotjer customer Mark this was an employee that had come in on day offTension between staff and manager alsoMost unhelpful store EVERWent for an update total drama and no signposting or explaining to us the customers what would actually happen (went to shop as not good at technical stuff but absolute waste off my time )
