Holloway Post Office

*DISGRACEFUL*The bald black man didn't want to borrow me a pen. He kept saying we're not a supplier" "we can't keep borrowing something to every customer". I had already queued and this was while I was at the counter. I just wanted to borrow a pen to move aside to write the package address and proceed. I tried to see if he was joking at first but his attitude was disgusting and clear. I started raising my voice asking how is it possible that you're colleague (Dee who turned out to be the owner) borrowed me "fragile tape" (which is worth more than a pen)

It states online that you can cash cheques to your bank at this Post Office however I was quickly advised to go to my bank after the cashier looked confused. They even have a big poster on the entrance “Branch closed? Do all your banking in store”.Rundown and terrible.

Terrible customer service. The staff have a really bad attitude towards customers. They don't care at all. I live 5 minutes from this post office, but in future I shall walk the extra distance to the one at Finsbury Park or Holloway Road. It really is that unpleasant.

The customer service was terrible. I have a daughter, who is eight years old , and there was a staff member who treated my daughter badly. I was looking after my baby so I could not understand the situation. My daughter was very sad after the staff member was shouting and telling her off just because she was popping a plastic bubble?! This is the worst Post Office ever. If you are going to hire people, hire KIND people. Not rude people. If i was not looking after my baby, I would have stood up for my daughter.

I’ve never had any issues with this post office sending or picking up packages. Yes the queue is sometimes very long but only at peak times which is to be expected. If you’re polite to the staff they are polite back unfortunately I have seen multiple people scream and shout at them so no wonder they are not always the happiest.

Terrible customer service including the manager. Server got my postage wrong and letter was returned to me undelivered that was destined for France. He was more interested in talking to a colleague at the time and was obviously not being careful with what he was doing. I wanted my money back and the answer I got was a no as the stamp hadn’t been used and I could take it off the envelope and use a glue stick to stick it to another letter. I don’t have much call to use a £2.20 stamp and I would have to buy a glue stick! I was refused a refund on that basis. The manager and the server that dealt with my letter over a month ago and got the postage wrong gave a half hearted apology which just annoyed me even more! I won’t be using this post office again and I would not suggest anyone else does!

Well what can I say about this place just an extremely terrible experience!!,the customer service is non existent from the servers including the manager!!..its shocking to see!!..they don't even deserve 1 star!!..I am unsure why they do what they do!, none of them seem to actually want to do any work and serve the public!!, they are willing to send u away to use other companies or just send u away full stop!!..the mangager needs a lesson in customer services!!, the management is so bad and it's no wonder the workers follow suit!!..how can a person get one's name so incorrectly when they have both I.d and the form in front of them with full name!??...I felt it was entered wrong intentionally otherwise it was just plain stupid!!..they've been doing this work long enough now so what was the issue...it was only after getting home and checking again I noticed this mistake on the receipt...I was then told by the manager I shud have checked the receipt!!..totally rude and uncalled for, no understanding was shown and no apology was given...I had to go back down there the same day to have it corrected..apparently it couldn't be done over the phone!!..and judging by the number of negative reviews on Google and the none response from them its obviously clear they don't care and so the below par services they offer and bad attitude will only continue!!..will be going to another post office!!..just a shame they closed the post office in archway!!!..Hornsey way post office is great and so is Finsbury Park!!..

Amazing service from all the staff at the post office. Always very helpful especially Zahra. The management team serve with a smile on their face. Thank you very much for your great service on every occasion that I attend.

I used to love this post office but now avoid it at all costs. It was previously run very efficiently and it’s been run into the ground by new management. The queues are super long. They have double the staff but somehow get a fraction of the amount done. Management just don’t seem interested in improving sadly despite it obviously failing. I now walk 5 times as far to another post office just to avoid it. Ok for me but sad for people dependent on it. A real shame - it used to be a great little place with helpful staff!
