We carry out regular maintenance at the registry office (JLR Roofing & property maintenance) & can say it's always a pleasure dealing with the staff there. Always there to help with any questions we may have. Great place with great staff!

Had our wedding ceremony here. Staff put us at such ease, welcoming, friendly, excited for us all. Our ceremony was so wholesome and even when we made mistakes we all supported and laughed together. I wouldn’t done anything differently. So special, highly recommend!

Friendly registrars so no issues, however thought was strange they didn't do a mock signing unlike other registry offices. I knocked off a star as I felt rushed as a photographer to get pictures as they do weddings every hour.

Attended as wedding guest, Bootham suite was a lovely venue and registrars/ organisers accommodated bride and groom's music requests etc. Has a nice garden attached.

We recently got married at a venue in York and the York Register Office were wonderful and very accommodating throughout the organising of the wedding. On the day, we had 2 registrars who were so lovely - you could just tell they love what they do. A massive thank you!

Had such an amazing day yesterday in the Bootham Suite getting married…Gareth and Anne (the registrars) were absolutely fantastic and made everything feel so special.

My husband and I had a wonderful wedding ceremony in the Bootham Suite on 14th October. Both the ladies conducting / recording the ceremony were extremely friendly, the setting was gorgeous, and the ceremony itself had the right amount of gravitas whilst still feeling very personal and special to us.I can't thank the staff enough for making our special day absolutely perfect. I'd give them 6 stars if I could!!
