Wonderland

We have visited here for the first time in nearly a decade and I have mixed emotions. We treated our 6 year old grandson to an afternoon out here. Value for money it is OK, not great but OK as the handful of rides at the attraction is included in the price. Whilst on the subject of the rides, I think every ride was disorganised as the kids went in at the entrance and came out of the....entrance! This as you can appreciate caused a lot of confusion as all rides had an exit which was not being used. I would be interested to see evidence of how frequently there is maintenance carried out on the rides and a H&S audit. Personally I think the whole site is in ill repair with all the attractions, walkways and rides looking tired and weathered. What prompted this review is the absolute greed and dodgy" activity at the food selling areas. Please look at the pics and judge for yourself what I have highlighted. The prices were ridiculous and I am disgusted. Our grandson did ask for something and I hate saying no

Had a fab day out with our 18 month old, he couldn't go on all the rides due to adults not being able to ride with him, but we thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the park and spent the entire day here, there was plenty to keep us busy, I think we will definitely be coming back

Wonderland is an ok day out, it's a big place to walk around but really there isn't much there to do or anything wonderful. It is priced at £12.50 a head which I think is overpriced for what you get. It is all dated and starting to show its age. It definitely hasn't been updated in a long time. The rides seem to be quite old. The carousel had some repairs to the floor from some wood screwed down. The eating area needs cleaning up and made to look nice. The shows (if you call them shows) were absolutely terrible. We aren't in a rush to go back

We all absolutely loved the Winter Wonderland. My children are 7 and 10 and didn’t stop smiling. We had the best day. The staff made such an effort to make them feel special, we barely queued for anything and we thought it was Just the right size to fill most of the day without being overwhelmed. The gift from Santa was lovely and the kids loved all the rides. The grinch was fantastic and very much amused everyone. Thank you to all the staff.

We just wanted to say a lovely thank you for a magical Christmas evening. Thank you for our carers tickets we really appreciate that you offer a carer discount we have three children with different needs but all of your staff were lovely they were caring, kind and patient all through the park. Mrs Santa was so kind to include our children in wish making. But we would like to say a special thank you to our Elf and Santa you were amazing our daughter is blind and non verbal but you were so kind in letting her hug you this means so much to us as she’s so sensory based all our children appreciated your kindness and loving nature you made tonight so special for us thank you

I thought it was OK, nothing great and not bad either. General admissions don't include things like Santa, face painting or trampolines which are all advertised as part of the wonderland attractions. We enjoyed the maze and the 6 rides for children were good. Disappointed that crazy golf again listed as one of the attractions was not available. Overall felt £50 + extras was a bit pricey for what's on offer hence just the 3 stars. I might as well pay a bit more and go to the NEC or somewhere for a proper show.

Took kids there great day out for under 8s. Lovely staff and alot to do. Plenty of parking arround.

Great day out for a 3 and 5 year old.The staff are amazingly friendly, the shows are great. The walks are just enough. Coffee was quite nice (personal preference)We went in the half term time and wasn't too busy. Food was reasonably priced as you would expect from a theme park but all good.We are coming back down for Halloween

Went on Halloween for the event they put on each year. Last year was good, this year wasn't. Just full of young kids/employees waking round screaming at people which was meant to be scary but it wasn't. Stick to what you know and don't bother with a Halloween event next year. Numbers were down on last year as well!

Over the years we have visited wonderland lots of times with our children a d today I visited with my grandchildren. The visit wasn't great the staff are lovely and friendly and interact with the children lovely and the children loved seeing the characters but the while place is looking run down it looks old and dirty and not cared for anymore the village is shut off and there are now food and drink stalls to use but we fed the children while here buying a hotdogs meal and a burger meal the prices are good but when the meal came the little one didn't want her burger after eating only half saying chewy and when my daughter checked it the burger was raw in the middle, when she took it back to them they just said okay would you like a sausage instead.The parks and shopping once out of wonderland are amazing.
