You can't access these grounds but you can look through the fence.

Interesting ruins of the old ironworks although it's not very developed, just a few information boards. The opening times can also be quite inconsistent although you can see pretty much all there is to see from the outside of the fence. Overall it's interesting to to have a look at if you're in the area but I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to go there.

Absolutely amazing. There's not much there anymore, but there are information boards showing photos of the past ironworks and the size of the site at that time. There is also a detailed map if the site. We followed the Forthergill trail looking at the Trefil tramroad and quarry. Well worth having a look
