Amazing service, had trouble with my exhaust on a Friday and I was certain I wouldn't be getting my car back until Tuesday. Rang me back after a couple of hours and it was fixed. Brilliant, can't recommend enough, if I have car trouble again I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Having broken down on the M1 whilst traveling to Southampton to go on a cruise the next day, my vehicle required a full recovery service as it was not drivable. My car was taken to Shirley Car Care Service, it arrived at the garage at 16.45pm. By 19.30pm that evening whilst I was at a local hotel, the garage called me to advise that they had identified the problem. Both rear brake callipers had ceased, thus this is had burnt out the rear pads and disks as well as my car requiring new callipers. They knew that I had to be at the Cruise Terminal by 2.00pm the next day. George and his team were brilliant and true to their word, I had the car back and got to the cruise terminal on time. What a service!!! The team here deliver exactly want they promise, they are very clear in their explanations and very professional. Trust me having told my local garage in North Wales what had happen upon my return and the costs for the repairs, they also commented how George and his team offer great value for money and are very competitive in their costing. My daughters Ford Focus failed the MoT on emissions even though it is 4years old with less than 30K on the clock and Ford with their usual helpful service could not look at the car for almost 5weeks, so she was unable to get to work however after some research Shirley Car Care came to the rescue within a few days, they flushed the cat and had a tinker and got the car through its MoT within a short space of time, very friendly and knowledgeable staff with reasonable pricing, they went the extra mile and I now have a very happy daughter. Would definitely recommend their services.

I was advised to get a second opinion after George said the PCM needs checking and repairing at a possible cost of over £1000 if both units needed repairing on my Ford focus ccSo I went to another garage and they diagnosed the fault in the instrument cluster and the soldering was worn away and was previously badly repairedThey repaired and replaced the unit with a cost of £180 within 2 hours and all codes have goneYou clearly tried to rip me off or you don’t know what you’re doing , I have wasted £273 on you trying to diagnose the problem and then ask for more money to fix a problem that doesn’t exist !!I will never be back !!!

A good honest service and were quick and diligent with the repairs when needed. Were flexible in how they dealt with the vehicle and timings. Overall I was happy with how everything was done.EDIT:Back again for another service and MOT on a different vehicle now and again it was a fast, reliable economical and friendly service. As good as it has been since I first started using them. Very happy

I took my car here after being recovered by the AA and needing a new head gasket, thermometer and to fix a leak in the coolant tank. George was very kind and communicated effectively. The service was done in a week and I felt for a very reasonable price. They addressed any concerns I had and I would recommend this garage.

I called up looking to have my rear brake disc's & pads replaced on the same day and this garage not only took on the work last minute but after finding a seized calliper they stayed on working late to make sure I had my vehicle back the same day.This garage is the first I've used which went the extra mile and did it all for a fair reasonable price and I can't recommend them enough!Even down to the lovely lady on reception who was polite and very clear with the information passed on everything was a pleasure to deal with.Exceptional Mechanic's, fantastic reception staff and the top man himself was a pleasure to do business with.You won't find better customer service or quality of work.10/10!

Had my car booked here for mot at 10am and waited for it and they told me it was ready at 12.30, over 2 and a half hours for a mot that should only take a hour and it cost £60 for mot. We'll when I looked closely at the mot it said the name of the mot testing garage was ACE AUTOMOTIVE SOUTHERN LTD Beatrice Rd, Shirley NOT by Shirley Car Care like I was led to believe who was doing my mot, this explains why it took so long and ACE Automotive only charges £45 for mot's and they probably charge Shirley Car Care less for the amount of mot's they probably do for them.So don't go to Shirley Car Care for mot's, go straight to ACE AUTOMOTIVE SOUTHERN LTD direct and save money and you will know where your car is then. If they are dishonest about the mot how can you trust what they say if they fail your car's mot....
