Met friends. Warm, friendly welcome from landlord. You feel valued as a customer, by all working here. Food was a delight with plenty on plate, really good value. We all had ham, egg and chips, with extra bread and butter. An absolute delight! Try it!

If I could give 6 stars out of five I would.The staff and publican are amazing, as a single female they made sure I was okay and comfortable in getting home.The food and beer was good qualityThe little touches of being a newcastle fan away from home was lovely. Not only did they screen the game but played the Blaydon races afterwards.A fantastic well run and caring pub, with fab food and great beer.If you visit a pub in Gloucester let it be this one.Thank you :)

Booked a table for 20,and they managed very well Food was hot and well cooked. Portions were so big, none of us could manage a sweet !Only drawback was the space was very limited, and the chairs didn't fit under the tables.

Good food. Portions were large, mini breakfast was more than enough for us! We're willing to cook off menu to accommodate young baby who is weaning.Lovely service and excellent staff.Couldn't fault anything.

We’ve just stayed here to attend a wedding at nearby Elmore Court and it was just perfect. A warm welcome from the staff, who helped us organise getting to and from the wedding venue. Able to come in after hours. Clean and tidy room with tea and coffee making facilities and a nice en-suite. Comfy bed. Quiet through the night. Breakfast was truly wonderful, a tasty and ginormous veggie breakfast with a large accompanying teapot. Would definitely recommend and we’ll look forward to staying again. Thank you!

Needed somewhere to stay when visiting family, this pub has had some major changes since the last time we stayed here and all for the better. They are alot more focused on food and making the pub more for families rather than being a sports bar, which it was previously.much much better. Be warned, if staying,the breakfast is huge!.

First time I been in here. Nice busy pub. Staff friendly. They have a good selection of Real Ales and other drinks. They do food and also do breakfast every day. They have a beer garden. Also big screens to watch sports. This is situated in Quedgeley gloucester

I usually stay in larger hotels but was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. Very friendly and helpful. Room spotless ensuite immaculate. Food delicious. Unless you are a very big eater only order the small breakfast again fantastic food cooked as you like it. Will be staying again. Overall exceptional for the price x
