Spring Tide
Not a lot to say really. The food was dreadful. Sausage and mash with onion gravy. Obviously no quality control at the factory where they were thrown together. Sausages burnt, and tasteless watery gravy with a few pieces of onion swimming around. And then the kitchen assistant responsible for presenting this culinary spectacle made it worse, if such a thing were possible. The centre of the mash was hot the outside cold. Mmmmmm could it have been in the microwave do you think. No point in going on about the service or atmosphere. If you can't get the basics right then don't bother. Worst pub chain experience I have ever had.

First impressions count. As soon as we walked in, we are a family of 6 there was a couple in-front of us and one couple behind - a lady in a burgundy top with missing teeth, who came to the front till said with a massive sigh oh do it now - they are all coming. She seemed really annoyed at our arrival. I also didn’t like the way she treated the staff. Everything anyone did staff or customer seemed to annoy her. I took cutlery off another table because I didn’t have any napkins and she then moaned she needed more cutlery. I did say that it was because I didn’t have any!To be fair we ordered one starter between 6 which was nachos. Then had a 40 min wait for food we did almost end up walking out. Which the waitress’ seemed shocked at.I do have to say that the waitress that served us was very sweet natured.I just feel sorry for the staff if the lady in burgundy is the manager because she really couldn’t organise a Piss up in a brewery!

The restaurant was very busy but we received excellent service. The food was delicious and we didn't have to wait as long as we expected considering the number of people there.Our only complaint would be the poor dessert selection. It's fine for those who love chocolatey desserts but the menu really needs some lemon choices and maybe an Eton Mess type of dessert.We were looked after by Maisie who is a credit to your chain. She was friendly and so helpful to us. A real delight to be served by her. Some people would have been quite stressed trying to look after so many people but she got on with it quickly and efficiently with a lovely smile all the time. She definitely made our dining experience with you a joy

I came here with my best friend and our children (both under 2). The food was amazing and our waitress Clare was amazing. She went above and beyond for us. We were sat in the kids zone and it was only us, the children were much calmer and happy. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. Will definitely visit again!

It was really busy but we were seated straight away and within a few minutes, our drinks order was taken. Our food order was taken in good time and the waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu. This lady has worked there for a long time and is always very professional and good at her job.

We were met at the door to book in, and were taken promptly to our table. The waitress was very happy and cheerful and took our drinks order, then came back for our meal order.The food was lovely and we left feeling very full and happy with our experience.The restaurant was also decorated up ready for Christmas which was lovely.

The food was so good! We brought my mum who is a bit of a food snob and she thought the lasagne was wonderful!My steak was cooked to perfection and all plates were clear. Your chips are godly!We recommend to everyone we can. It’s so lovely seeing Springtide full again. The staff are always SO welcoming and friendly. A really lovely place to dine

2 stars for the staff, they were good. Light lunch you're not kidding! More like a toddler lunch. if you're hungry don't order the light lunch. I understand it's a smaller portion but it was a very very small portion. Chicken was watery. Bacon grey. Peas cold and gammon tough and extra salty. Said did blue light discount, however not on light lunch or any other deals on the menu. I was overcharged by £10.50 Won't be going again.
