Had issues with our heat pump and have struggled in the past to find contractors to service it. Hex has resolved that problem and we are now confident that when we have problems they are there to support us. Very happy.

Recently, arrangements were made with Hex Energy U.K., via Stephen Blackhall Head of Services and Maintenance, for them to travel circa 360 miles to service our installed AquaMaster closed ground source heat pumps. 22KWh.x2 Simon and Aaron, Geothermal Engineers attended, were clearly knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. A full documentation form was completed for company and my own records. I’ve never received post-service paperwork/records from other service providers so this was a welcome first! We thoroughly recommend Hex Energy for their competence and Duty of Care, far in excess of our previous experiences with the initial installer. Hex’s service charge was substantially less than the previous installer’s service and very reasonable.

Hex installed an Air Source Heat Pump in one of our Community Centres. Their tender was both competitive and thorough with a detailed breakdown of monthly heat & hot water generation, details of ASHP capacity. They pointed out that we may not need the new gas boiler and how they could link the system to our existing. The Joule cylinder recommended is a good cylinder combining thermal storage and hot water generation/storage, helping to protect the building heating from ASHP defrost cycles. They recommended variable speed pumps, reducing ongoing costs. Their tender was a very competitive, high quality response which the Council was more than happy to go with.Hex worked closely with us on the finer detail, including with our architect on the location of the external fans.At installation, we were not disappointed. The onsite team worked with us to avoid disruption to the users of the Community Centre, which included the need to retain hot water for a branch GP Surgery located within the building.Overall we are very happy with the installation, which is expected to reduce the carbon footprint of the building by around 60% and save 40% on our energy bills.

We recently used Hex Energy to have our Air Source Heat Pump serviced.We got a response to our email asking if they could help us very quickly and efficiently. The engineer came on time and spent about 2 hours to check our system. He was very polite, friendly and confident about the work required. We're very satisfied and hope the firm will be able to help us again next year in spite of the distance.
