Amazing business run by people who love cats!We’ve never had cats come home as calm and content from a stay away from as they do from here.Lovely family who genuinely want make sure your cats are happy and looked after. We cannot thank them enough for looking after our cats this past 1-2 years with a bereavement, a house move and renovations they’ve been amazing. They helped us with last minute boards and requests to extend them with delays in work and it’s been a massive help and relief because they cats do love it there✨The works almost done and we probably wouldn’t need to board them out of necessity in the foreseeable future but we’d probably book them in at some point anyway so they can have a dog free break because it is such a great family run business☺️

I would have loved to given a 5 star review based on my cat's previous stay at Nant y Crabbas. However, when I recently tried to re book by telephone, I was given the impression the booking was taken, the owner stated she remembered my cat from the previous visit and said he was happy etc. I had stated I would call a couple of days later to confirm the arrival date, as I was a little unsure, this appeared to be acceptable. Within the hour of the phone call, I received a Whatsapp message, saying they would not have my cat now or in the future. I immediately tried to call and three times my call was rejected. I gave the benefit of the doubt thinking perhaps they were busy. So I replied via Whatsapp, asking why?, I received no response. I then sent an email, again. no response. The following morning I called from my withheld landline number, the call was answered, but when I asked why my request for boarding was being refused, it was then blatantly obvious that I was 'hung up' on.I did not try again, but I did send a message saying that I was flabbergasted at the unprofessionalism and not being offered an explanation. Extremely disappointed at not been given a valid reason for the sudden refusal and was left wondering was my cat indeed happy and settled at all at the previous visit, as I had been informed.In response to the reply from Nant y Crabbas, I have reported this reply as it is false and defamatory. Not once was I verbally abusive about staff. Never, ever would I be rude like that, complete falsehood. Why would I try to book my cat in again if I was not happy and been assured of this. I only met one lady staff member at that visit, who was absolutely lovely, I also acknowledge that receiving the photos and videos was reassuring at the time and I was happy my cat was being cared for. I should have stated this in my earlier review.During the telephone call, I simply mentioned my cat was a bit stressed going in the cage when I picked him up, and a general comment that, 'who wouldn't be stressed, being put in a cage'. This was clearly taken out of context. I re-iterate there was never a mention to 'belittle' or personal comments about anyone. In my email to you, I did state I can be somewhat over anxious about my cat, I have just re-read that email and I state I was confused to receive your message and that I would be grateful for a reply.You have made personal comments about my 'alleged behaviour' yet, did not extend me the courtesy of explaining or allowed me the opportunity to apologise if you had been offended by the conversation. Anyone would tell you I am the least offensive person. This again is outrageous to attack my personality publicly, when I had been ignored at the time when I tried to call and message to ask why.

This is the first time in a long time that our 3 cats have gone to a cattery and we really felt like they were looked after like part of the family. We loved that we got updates and photos of how they were, it made us feel reassured and able to enjoy our holiday! Thank you from Monty, Willow and Bob x

I can't recommend Nant y Crabbas enough. Thank you so, so much for taking care of Lulu! It was so reassuring to know that she was in very safe and caring hands. The whole process was amazing and everyone has been so friendly and lovely. We will definitely be back :)

This place is truly amazing and the staff are fantastic, so caring. I cannot thank them enough for the love and care they give my fur baby Simba whilst staying at Nant y Crabbas, plus they send you photos. Highly recommend

We cannot speak highly enough about Nant Y Crabbas Cattery and the wonderful family who own and run it. We have an elderly cat, Poppy, who is now 20 years old. She is so well looked after, always looks well when we pick her up and like other reviewers we get photo and sometimes video updates during her stay. All dietary requirements are catered for and we feel that Poppy genuinely loves staying for her holidays.Now she’s older they even supply cat steps for her to reach bed area rather than having to firstly jump on a chair. Every last thought and more.Highly, highly recommend. Don’t look anywhere else.

Nant y Crabbas is justifiably recommended by us and we look forward to a long association. The staff here are absolutely amazing. We had never put our 3 cats into a cattery before, so felt very anxious about leaving our 3 babies.The staff made us and our 3 cats all feel at ease, they are lovely people so warm and caring.Regular pictures and updates how our 3 cats were all doing was lovely.The whole place is spotlessly clean and fresh aswell including the cat trees and toys.We will definitely be bringing our cats back again when needed for a little holiday! Highly recommend.

Nant Y Crabbas Cattery is a wonderful cattery that I highly recommend. Tinkerbell (15 years old) looked so pampered and loved by everyone at Nant Y Crabbas. I’m not sure that she wanted to come hometo be honest, after being pampered so much. She’s so looked after, given so much attention and it makes going on holiday and leaving her that much easier knowing how amazing the staff are. We where sent photos and video which was so lovely and great peace of mind.Best 5 star cat hotel in North Wales for sure. Thank you all for all your hard work x

100% recommend Nant Y Crabbas Cattery. Lovely staff and facilities. My cats are relaxed and settled. I also appreciate the picture and video updates of them enjoying a fuss. It’s great to know that they’re in safe hands when I’m away.
