We had breakfast with Santa. Santa and Mrs Claus were brilliant. Activities were a finger painting christmas card and a cracker for each child at the table, the gifting of a jingle bell and a selection box, a sit down with Santa, which was great, and a dance with Santa's and Mrs Claus after breakfast. The atmosphere was lovely, and the waiting staff were polite and efficient. The food and drink let it down. The drinks available were tea and coffee, which would have been fine if the coffee was decent. Unfortunately, the coffee was cheap and tasted of hickory, and drinks were also served in paper cups, not what one expects from a restaurant. We had 2 adult breakfasts and a childs breakfast. The bacon was middle bacon and was very fatty and barely cooked. The scrambled egg was microwaved and cold. The hash browns were dreadful, deep-fried, and over cooked in oil that wasn’t hot enough. The mushrooms were swimming in grease. The sausages, beans, and toast were ok. We were very disappointed at the food. We were looking forward to a delicious breakfast and left hungry because it wasn't really edible. I would not waste my money on food here again. The village has many establishments that serve breakfast, all of which I would recommend over here.

Ended up going here as a 2nd option to to the asian restaurant which has now closed & what a second option it was, 8 of us went there for my wife's birthday . Terrible service very slow. Ordered a plain grilled chicken which came as a garlic chicken which I dont even think was on the menu & had to go back we then had to wait for the chicken to come back out which took a long time. Parmos were nice but the schwarma wrap was very average just lumps of chicken that didn't look very grilled in a out of the packet flatbread I've had better from a takeaway & a very small portion of chips thrown on next to it no garnish or anything. It was mentioned upon payment but staff didn't really know what to do & didn't seem experienced in customer service just a half arsed apology. I've heard good things about the open jar but this it will be my 1st & last time there.

A really enjoyable meal. We went on a lunch time and they have great deals. They have a lot of variation of food including gluten free options, which they are very knowledgable with cross contamination. The staff are lovely and it is a nice restaurant.

Fantastic place! Exactly like the one on the Marina in Hartlepool. Well worth a visit. Incredible food, great cocktails, friendly staff and a nice venue. They do one of the best parmos in Teesside. 5*. They also do a fantastic burger! You won't be disappointed if you go here, it's highly recommended!

Truly awful service with horrendous attitude.Waited over 30mins for food, eventually gave up waiting and asked how much longer would it be. I was eventually told in a condescending manner that, I had ordered a parmo which takes 25mins to cook. OK, so that's 5mns late, but what about the starter which was ordered at the same time? And never materialised...We couldn't take anymore of this horrid persons attitude. So with no apology or offer compensation (of at least a drink on the house). We paid for our drinks and left, with no food after a 45min wait.It would be zero stars but the site won't let me.I do look forward to your response.....Still awaiting a response, only been 8 months....! Nearly as long as the food to come..

Visited twice now and can't fault it. Food is really really good, prices not bad either. Cocktails available also.

Wednesday night was very busy for the 2 girls who were looking after the whole restorant and a bar . Assuming the kitchen was short staff aswell as food wasn't as good as expected. French fried came all broken in bits , coleslaw was roughly chopped, hard and mayo was sour . Mojito was not the cocktail I would go again .

Stylish and light, was very popular and we were seated just before the place filled up. Good choice of food and there is a huge parmo option of you like a challenge. Part of a two site chain locally as there is another at Seaton Carew.
