Went for an interview and they didn't have the decency to let me know I hadn't got the job It doesn't cost anything to send an email especially when you take the time to turn up and spend nearly an hour being grilled it's called common courtesy

I got fired for having Covid, it's ridiculous.I had it throughout Christmas, but needed a few days off because I was really ill.I was in bed for two weeks and got fired when I returned.Management didn't believe that I was ill, even though I provided tests as proof.Only advice I can give is too give this job a wide birth, people.Don't get me wrong, it's easy money as the job is quite relaxed, but it's also very, very boring.It's one of them jobs where you find yourself clock watching, and the day just drags.On indeed it says that the wage is average. But what indeed don't tell you is that, you'll pick up a few skills that should warrant a payrise.On my department I picked up spraying and learnt how to maintain a PU machine, yet was still on the same wage as a new starter.You become completely self sufficient, but apparently that doesn't warrant a payrise.They'll avoid you when you ask about advancing and securing a payrise, it's like they start sweating at the prospect of paying you an extra 40p an hour, terrible company.As for the company itself, they're so far behind it's laughable.They're a few million pounds behind due to their utter, utter incompetence.They had a problem with the system for months and during this time period and absolutely no products were leaving the factory. They'll order chemicals when they run out, bringing the entire pu department to an utter standstill because of it, it's quite ridiculous.Makes me wonder where jenx would be without that niche in the market and if they had some decent competition. My guess is that they would've gone into liquidation some time ago.

Really great company

A caring company for both it's customers and work force

Best company I've worked for when I started but then the company started employing people in high positions well higher than a warehouse operative on ridiculous wages and when the company started going down hill and losing money month after month the shop floor workers get asked to cut there hours to save money like its there fault they will tell you they are the most caring business on the planet that's until you get your position and if you want to progress on a company then this isn't the one because its only the chosen(favourites) ones that get them privileges.
