Terrington Burchett

I was recommended Terrington Burchett by the person who designed my dress and overall they did a really good job. The dress has come back clean and steamed and has clearly been treated with care. I paid extra for the box and would recommend this as it came back carefully folded with layers of tissue paper.My only reservation is that it takes a really long time for the dress to be cleaned. They have a 12 week ETA which they don't inform you of until the dress has been sent off (I assume there is a quicker service if you need it for a certain deadline). They were also going to keep it for even longer but I was unhappy with this and, to be fair, Emma and the team did manage to get it back to me without much of an extension. So overall, would recommend given the care and quality of clean but don't expect your dress back in super quick time!

Following my wedding in August, I was advised that Terrington Burchett were *the* people to go to for a professional clean of designer wedding dresses (my dress was a bespoke dress from a well-regarded wedding dress designer which cost circa £4,500)I was initially impressed by the responsiveness to my enquiry. Given the cost of the dress, I thought the £250 dry cleaning price was a lot but worthwhile for a professional, expert clean. It wasn't.My dress stayed with TB for 5 months. I'm not sure why but I was told this was because of a delay in the preservation boxes" and staff illness. I had to continually chase for updates and at one point

From the outset of this process it has been a pleasure working with Emma and the team. The wedding day was amazing and the dress at the end in a very messy state!! The team worked so hard to bring it back to a pre wedding state and communication was excellent during all this time. The dress has arrived back looking stunning, thanks very much Emma and Team

I used Terrington Burchett to clean my wedding dress between our secret wedding and our reception. The whole process was made very simple and my dress looks perfect. They’ve been very quick and helpful when I’ve contacted them. I would highly recommend them.

My wedding dress skirt was a complete mess after the party and it was sent out to Terrington Burchett splattered with red wine, mud caked into the bottom of the skirt and burn marks and holes for the camp fire. They did a really good job of cleaning it and restoring it to a level I didn't expect at all. The price of the service for the full clean along with picking it up, packaging it carefully and returning it to us was incredibly good value for what was clearly a lot of work. I would definitely recommend using the service. It might seem like a lot on the initial quote but when you realise the work that goes into it and the service provided I would say, for an item I imagine you care about, it's very good value.

Emma & Dan are worth so much more than 5 stars!My daughter was devastated when she found a stain on her brand new wedding dress 3 months before her wedding!It remains a mystery as to how the stain got there as it had been stored carefully at home in a plastic cover and bridal carrier, both provided by the shop we bought it from.I contacted Terrinton Burchett as I had seen them on Instagram. Emma immediately made me feel at ease with her knowledge and kindness and the next morning my daughter and I travelled to Grantham where over the weekend Dan did his magic.Emma & Dan were so helpful and gave us advice on how to store the dress, providing us with a new breathable cover to keep it safe for the wedding. They advised that the plastic cover is only to prevent creasing during transportation and should be removed as soon as you get home.I cannot thank Dan & Emma enough for their quick response, personal attention and kindness when restoring the dress back to its original beauty.We will definitely be returning to have the dress cleaned after the wedding and feel confident to recommend them.Don't even think about going anywhere else this company is amazing.

Would absolutely recommend Terrington Burchett - my dress had been worn previously by me for our covid wedding and although another company had apparently cleaned my dress it was grubby and I would have been unable to wear it had it not been for Emma and Terrington Burchett. Emma was so helpful from start to finish and the whole process of booking my dress in and having it collected/returned was so easy. The service was quick and professional and they did a thorough and professional job. My dress came back sparkling again and I was able to wear it again for our marriage celebration. I will be sending my dress back to them shortly for it to be cleaned and boxed up. Thank you again Emma and the team xx

We use TB for all our wedding dresses in the boutique and suggest our brides use them for after their wedding.The team are helpful and professionalIt does take time after your wedding to have dresses returned as they pride themselves on results and they are in high demand.We would not suggest using anyone but Terrington Burchett
