We had our Christmas meal at the Bugle and have to say that the food was delicious. The Christmas menu had a good choice of options and the service was exemplary also. I have no negatives about the food or service but unfortunately I do regarding parking. We struggled to find a space in the carpark and had to drive further up the road which, with no street lighting and being a narrow road, wasn’t ideal. So fab little place to eat but you may struggle to park at busy times!

Very disappointing Sunday lunch and fish and chips. Sunday lunch not seasoned, cauliflower and beans almost raw and lamb mainly fat. I don’t mind some fat as lamb is fatty but not when there is more fat than meat. Fish was overcooked. Staff were nice and offered us a free lime and soda nd apple juice as an apology.

Went there for a lovely lunch last Sunday. The roast was a clear 10/10. The only negative point was that the price of the roasts were £21 on the day but showing £18 on the website which is a 15% increase. The website menu needs updating, but great service and food.

Over rated food and charging far too much for Sunday Roasts..came out cold not seasoned tasteless gravy. Great location and good food in the week however out of their depth with the volume of punters on a Sunday. Need to up their game to justify the pounds!

Lovely pub for our overnight stay. Really warm welcome by friendly staff. The room was spacious, exceptionally clean with good facilities (could have done with some decaf coffee, I'm sure if we'd have asked they would have provided some.The evening meal was fabulous, good portions, well cooked, served by friendly attentive staff. The choices on the menu were small, but I don't mind that when the food is this good.The breakfast was excellent, large portion of fabulous local products, very well cooked and served.Would definitely recommend a visit.

We arrived early then our booking, manage to get parking straight away, we went to the bar and were served immediately for our drinks. Later we were called to our table when it was ready. The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Service was excellent the Sunday roast was to die for, well worth the price. Was only there for a meal not to use the hotel.

Very nice food and the staff were super welcoming and friendly. We'd actually visited by accident as we'd broken down! Lara and her team were so kind and understanding. We'd defininetly visit again if in the area.

Went for Sunday lunch today, 20th August 2023.The food was excellent and the service was divine. One issue with obtaining a Gluten Free meal was flagged by the staff and immediately alternatives were presented.A minor issue was that the cutlery seems a bit aged and struggled a bit sometimes, it could do with a refresh. Having said that, there is nothing that would stop me visiting again for such a delicious meal.P.S. the puddings are pretty spectacular.
