Excellent service, cannot believe how good Strike is at looking after us throughout the whole process of selling our property. We would definitely use them again, and we have already recommended them to our friends.

Buyers beware!!! Not worth the heartache or hassle.The selling agent actively dodged my calls and ignored my emails - which was easily done because there is never a direct line to call and you always get through to some sort of screening staff first.If you want to get anything done you need to be relentless in contacting them and pushing it along. Don’t leave anything with them as even my request to pass along information to the seller was ignored. Over three weeks later (after chasing them repeatedly) I finally received a call back and the estate agent didn’t know why I had been trying to get in touch, let alone pass the information along!It is blatantly obvious that they purposefully ignore your calls because then, when offers were on the table, I received a voicemail saying ‘if they tell you I’m on the phone this is what you need to say and I will call you straight back’!Apparently, the emails that I sent while the agent was on annual leave were ‘instantly archived’ which is not a process that any respectful business follows. It means that nobody else picked up my email and she didn’t bother to read it when she returned. Despite then accessing it immediately when I asked about it on the phone!We eventually had an offer accepted on our dream first home and we received a phone call and several emails with requests for our ID, proof of deposit, solicitor’s details etc to start proceedings and take the house off the market at 4:05pm on Sunday. This was done by an agent we had not previously dealt with. By 9:12am on Monday the original agent who actively avoids us called to say that we had been gazumped. A VERY unlikely scenario to have completely unfolded given their 4:30pm closing time on Sunday and their 8:30am opening time on Monday. Something very disingenuous is going on here.The agent had absolutely no empathy in telling me this news and completely shattering our dreams so soon after having our offer accepted.To make matters worse they are constantly trying to push their affiliate services on you, claiming it will go through quicker with their solicitors, when reviews show this is quite the opposite.Since our first viewing this has been a three month process just to get to the point of having an offer accepted as Strike are not proactive and will ignore you. We were the only party interested in the property for some time before this apparent gazumping so you would think they would want to get it sold and be more proactive.As first time buyers this has been an awful, heartbreaking and misleading experience and we never want to deal with Strike again!I have never in my life felt the need to leave a google review, but people need warning about this terrible service.Edit: Strike Mortgage Advisers are run separately and seem to be much more helpful and empathetic. They can easily be contacted directly.

Apart from a stroppy sales assistant... it has been a wonderful experience.They have gone over and above what I expected from any estate agents.Definitely went the whole mile to put right any misunderstandings.Would recommend

Strike offer a really great and comprehensive service.We sold our home with them a few years ago and have come back again to use their broker service this time round. Our mortgage advisor Mike was great, really professional, informative and communication was spot on.

Stike is the estate agents that handled the house sale when I purchased my property. I have found them very good. My point of contact was Claire Wheeler. Claire was very good at keeping me informed of all aspects of my purchase. I found that whenever I rang Strike, I didn't have to explain who I was as their system obviously is set up to recognise a client calling. Also, the phone was always answered - no hanging on or having to ring back later. All in all a very good service.

We found the service we received, when selling our house in Leicester, second to none. The team went the extra mile in achieving the sale and kept us constantly in the loop. We were thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and care extended to us as vendors. Thank you Julia, Chloe and the rest of the team, we appreciate all that you did for us. Made an appointment online with strike to value our home, as we'd heard and read some good things. Received the confirmation email and txt. However, the agent never turned up at the arranged time. Received no notification and got no response from the phone number when I called.Very bad.

From giving an unrealistic market value of my house at the beginning to not updating my advert, through to lack of communication with potential buyers and then pushing me over to an auction company. I really don’t know where to start. What a nightmare that I don’t think I will wake up from!Between Strike and Goto Auctions I feel I made the worst decision ever going with this company.I’ve used online estate agents in the past like Yopa and always found them insightful, knowledgeable about the area, market and also very hands on and communicative with potential buyers and myself. Unfortunately this is seemingly not the approach taken by Strike.I wish I’d never dealt with them and honestly don’t know how they justify their fee.The first valuation was £80k above market and area value, in fact it was myself that advised the agent that would make my property over priced, at that point she lowered it and offered to go with my valuation!!It’s added more stress to an already stressful process and now Goto are involved the left doesn’t know what the right is doing!Should have stuck to Yopa!The other downside is the non stop pushing from their conveyancing company. At times it feels like harassment.Comment added 15/11/23 Charlotte (Strike Customer Services) I have sent you the details you requested. You asked what I would like, to no longer deal with yourselves or Goto and get my money back. No response of course!Further update if you try and review this company you will see TrustPilot warns you they try and regulate their own reviews, beware!. Avoid like the plague. Oh and not hear anymore from their Customer Services or sales persons either!Update as of 15/12/23, not able to reach anyone at Strike, have tried calling, emailing no response! Have event sent a WhatsApp message, Ria has told me to call them, at least she replied!. What worries me is that if I can’t get hold of them does this mean potential buyers have trouble also?????? Finally managed to get through after being cut off and passed through to GOTO and apparently they didn’t know I was with them (Strike) and the wrong number is associated with my account, you could not make this up. Appalling service, if you can call it service. Don’t waste your time especially if your agent is Sam Jali. I’ve now escalated the issue with Khanya. But will be looking to get my money back and go with an actual Estate Agent.

Strike offer an amazing service with full personal attention from start to finish. I have no idea why anyone would pay high estate agent fees, when Strike offer everything a local agent does, and with the highest level of support.The valuation from a lovely and knowledgeable Karlee was arranged and we were on the market very quickly at a price we thought was great.Fiona and Ashley helped us through the viewings and were superb in dealing with offers (even though some were silly). They took away any awkward discussions with potential buyers and time wasters.Chelsea got stuck into the negotiations with our buyer and ultimately it was the amazing Mel Flack that got us over the line, in spite of our solicitors being less than communicative. Mel was fantastic, keen to see us exchange and complete, and also fight our solicitors to do their job. We are thrilled she was on our side.My advice to Strike sellers is to use their conveyancing services, I wish I had. The whole process would have been handled a lot smoother and professionally. In fact, whatever Strike offer, take it up, they are really professional, nice people who get to know you and your circumstances, and also take the time to keep in touch.
