Bristol Transmissions

This company has been around for years and now there transmissions and are very helpful.

They go above and beyond to make sure that you feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire process, from the initial diagnosis to the final repair. They keep you informed about the progress of your vehicle, and they are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.

So far, my dealings with them have been very good indeed. This could change as my car is still with them. But, being in the car business myself, I hope I know a thing or two.All staff I have dealt with have been friendly and professional. They even identified something, that others may have missed.Once my car is back with me, I will update this review with my findings, but so far so good.

This is the place. Incredible service, great customer service and really helped me out in a tough situation. My go to garage from now on I highly recommend them.After getting conned by MILTA Technology and their mechatronic unit failing on me just outside their warranty ( 6 months or 10k miles) i did only 534 miles in 10 months. They were rude and wanted even more money than the first time to fix the faulty unit they supplied me in the first place.I WISH that I just went to Bristol Transmissions first. Simon and the entire staff there were incredible. If you have any problems especially regarding DSG gear boxes or mechatronic units just come here.Prompt and faultless, cant thank you enough. A+

Crazy long wait (five weeks) to have them then take three days to spend an hour on it and tell me what I already knew the problem was. Quoted more than I was elsewhere by 20% and told I’d need to wait another five weeks to have the diff sorted. I’d avoid this place like the plague unless there was literally no other option.I’m utterly shocked I was recommended this place, I likely won’t be going back to the garage I was recommend them by either.

After being quoted nearly double the price from Nissan, I was recommended Bristol Transmissions from MULTIPLE garages in my home town. They all said that BT are the best in the game and that I should go directly to them as they'd only be using them anyway and putting their bit on top.A courtesy car was delivered to my home and my vehicle collected via flat bed. I was updated via email what was going on with my vehicle and needless to say, the work is faultless.Thank you to everyone involved.Kind regards
