Myself and my husband had a meal here yesterday for our wedding anniversary. It was the first time either of us had been and we cannot rate it highly enough. The place is cute and warm, the food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. There were only 3 members of staff on when we were there but they were all very friendly and attentive. All of the food that we had was very tasty and great portion sizes. We were completely spoilt for choice as lots of things on the menu sounded great! We will definitely be visiting again and will work our way through the menu! Thanks for making our celebratory meal enjoyable!

Absolutely delicious food. Just came across this place and the food is so tasty (if you’re a vegan or not!), so much choice. Staff very friendly and music really cool. Go!

This was such an incredible find in Manchester. The staff were so friendly and helpful in advising what we would like/what they recommended! The food was delicious and I will definitely be returning soon. Makes vegan eating so much easier when we can find places like Pastan!

Heard many good things about Pastan and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Honestly was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time - I was so impressed with the flavours of the food & the variety of options. Absolutely loved the gnocchi, vegan shrimp & umami stroganoff. Love how it’s a fully plant-based restaurant and hope it continues to thrive. The staff were all so friendly & lovely and I will 100% be returning and bringing other friends & family.

Great selection of vegan dishes! The deep fried gnocchi are really tasty and there are a lot of freshly made pasta dishes available too. We were too full to order a dessert but hopefully next time we can make room!

We had dinner here as a group of 4, 3 of whom are vegan. All of us absolutely loved it. The food (and wine) was so delicious. The manager was very clued up about allergens and was able to talk me through the menu with confidence which I really appreciated. Their kitchen looks tiny but they were able to produce incredibly tasty food and I'll definitely be back.

Firstly, I do want to stay the staff were very lovely when serving us and I have no problems with the service.However, the pasta carbonara was very very bland. It tasted like it was just cream and flour in the sauce and no flavourings. I see from other reviews people had 'parmesan' on the table which would have provided some much needed flavour if we had access.I will say the staff checked in and asked if it was okay but we felt awkward and didn't want to say. One of us ate the food out of hunger and the other one couldn't stomach it. The shiitake mushrooms which cost £2.50 extra tasted like they'd been dehydrated and tried to be rehydrated in the sauce which gave it an awful texture.I marked the atmosphere rating down, as another thing that made me very uncomfortable, was hearing the staff complain about another customer complaining about the food and their response was oh well

We came here for our wedding anniversary, and not only was it one of the nicest vegan pasta meal I've eaten, it was one of the nicest pasta meals full stop. Every dish was a delight, and the hosts were some of the nicest people I've met. We'll definitely be coming back here again as soon as we're able.

Lovely vegan pasta restaurant in a central part of Manchester. Menu offers variety and good prices with superb staff.Ordered the Pan con Tomate and Shiitake Caesar Salad both of which were fresh and tasty, would definitely recommend the salad.Well worth a visit but remember to book as it's only a small restaurant. Would definitely return and or try their other locations.
