Guitar lessons Lincoln with Johnny

Johnny keeps lessons interesting by tailoring them to my musical tastes. They are challenging but achievable which has helped me to become a more confident player. His explanations and demonstrations are easy to understand

I was keen on learning the guitar for years but always put it off due to the thought of having lessons at an older age. Johnny immediately made me feel comfortable and there is never any pressure. It is a relaxing and enjoyable environment to learn the guitar and I’d recommend him to anyone

What can you say about guitar lessons with Johnny? Have to be the best in Lincoln and beyond. Excellent guitarist, excellent tutor, all taking place in the 'bat cave' which has to be best kitted out home studio ever. Johnny's been teaching our daughter and me for about 5 years now. Faultless. What he doesn't know about guitars, amps, bands, musicianship, music theory and rock history just isn't worth knowing. Great guy, great set up.

Johnny is a brilliant, knowledgeable guitar tutor & creates a friendly & stressless environment where students will make real progress with their playing, I can do more with a guitar today than I ever thought possible thanks to Johnny. Facilities & equipment are excellent too, highly recommended

Johnny taught our daughter electric guitar right through from when she was a key stage 1 pupil at primary school, up until she was a teenager sitting GCSEs. In that time she worked her way through Rock School exams up to Grade 5, always looking forward to her after school lessons with Johnny which in later years particularly she found a welcome escape from the pressures of school life. She thoroughly enjoyed her ‘guitar years’ and looks back on them with great fondness. Johnny’s patience, kindness, professionalism and understanding with students both tiny and teenage would, I am sure, be very hard to match elsewhere and I therefore cannot recommend him highly enough.

A friend recommended Johnny when my daughter wanted to learn bass guitar and she loved it. I subsequently dusted off my old guitar and have been taking lessons for several years now. I really look forward to the sessions, Johnny is very flexible and tailors them for me. Really friendly, and a great cup of tea!

I started lessons in my early 50s so never too late! Johnny is a great teacher and a fantastic guitar player, who has encouraged and supported me from the begining. I started with zero knowledge, an acoustic guitar and no confidence in my ability to ever get my fat fingers to do anything! Over the years I have built up a selection of guitars and gear thanks to my ever patient wife and enjoy playing some great songs. I am currently prepping to take my Grade 4 exam and would definitely recomend that anyone should take the plunge and give it a go... you won't regret it!

Have been taking my son for lessons for over 6 years now and genuinely cant say enough positive things about Johnny Milan. He has taken my son from young, complete beginner to a really accomplished player. More than that is the manner in which he has done this. Always friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and understanding, and especially as my son started very young (10 years) really easy going and fun. Couldn't recommend a guitar teacher more, definitely 5 stars.

Thoughly recommend. Johnny has taught both myself and my son. Lessons and progress at a pace suitable for the learner. Friendly atmosphere and great studio. I really enjoy my lessons and look forward to my next slot.
