Loved every second. Our family had loads to do such as snooker, darts, playroom for the children and the sauna. This place is massive! Will definitely be back

Group of 12 of us went for a friends 50th. Large converted church on 3 levels. Great size and layout. Most bedrooms are interior facing though which is a bit weird but they were big enough for 3 nights. Very good value for the money.

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE I HAVE STAYED IN. EXCELLENT AND A LOVELY FRENCH RESTAURANT UP THE STREET.

Recommended to us. And a brilliant recommendation.More than enough space for our extended family.Large kitchen, diner sitting area. Accommodated all 12 of us easily.Games room massive and we'll equipped. Children - well in their 20s and 30s loved it. But would be great for kids in teans.Bedrooms great - 3 ensuite and family bathroom.Only issue is if anyone wants an early night - not a problem with our lot!!! - the noise from the games room travels round the house. But there is a quiet ensuite on ground floor.Not much in town - couple of alright pubs. Chippy is good as is butchers. But loads to do nearby. Barnard castle worth a visit - even if you happy with your eyesite. Low force and high force lovely.So would recommend for a family gathering or group of friends for a few days away.

Stayed weekend of 12th October 2019, loved this gorgeous house its fab facilities and its fab surroundings. We will be back.

We had - THE BEST - time here. We spent a weekend celebrating our gorgeous bride to be (finally, after a few setbacks!) And it was perfect. The photos do not do this place justice at all - its enormous! Such a comfortable set up - and with some amazing historical/quirky features! An amazing property that all of us would reccomend.

Wow what a lovely place we stayed for a week and everyone had a super time young and old. I only gave it 4 stars as I think its missing air conditioning. Apart from that its FABULOUS

Second time at this wonderful converted chapel.There aren't any compliments big enough to describe how perfect this holiday accommodation is. It has the wow wow factor and we will definitely be returning again.
