Rehabilitation and Training

Steve done so much with us in the two hours he was with us. Steve was our last resort as we thought we might have had to re home one of our dogs due to them fighting but Steve has given us hope that this isn’t the case. Steve has given us all the tools to make our dogs better, it’s now down to us to make sure we implement them. My only complaint is that I didn’t book him for the whole day as he was amazing

I would strongly recommend Steve as he is an excellent dog trainer. We had a number of concerns with our Maltese dog. Steve spent a day with us going through the issues and advising us how to address each one of them. Steve's strategies are very effective! After the training we received a comprehensive report so that we could refer back to if ever required. Excellent service!

Steve came to help me with some unwanted behaviours from my puggle. He was able to give me some very useful advice on how to deal with these as well as some other tips and tricks for ensuring good behaviour. He was very knowledgeable and my dogs quickly behaved perfectly for him, using his positive praise techniques.Since he left, we’ve been making great progress following his techniques. Steve is a very professional individual who I am thoroughly recommending to all new puppy owners.It is very evident that Steve is totally passionate about his work, extremely knowledgeable and has a drive to educate and support others.His visit to our home has been invaluable and I would say even life changing for us as new puppy owners.

We asked Steve from Rehabilitation and Training to come to visit our two rescue collies, as they were both nervous and reactive in different ways, especially to strangers. Steve was brilliant with them. He was calm, and gave us some things to do to help discipline them, but without unkindness or raised voices. He bases his training on kindness and reward, which I knew from a previous visit for a different rescue, so I was very happy to trust him to come back again. I have to be honest and say that quite a bit of the training is for the owner, as well as teaching how strangers should approach a dog (they shouldn't!). All in all, it was a positive experience for both us, and our much loved collies. Thank you Steve.

Our rescue American bulldog mix had a session with Steve over the summer and we found it incredibly helpful for his excitable reactivity with other dogs on walks. A lot of his work surrounded building confidence in our dog, as well as our own abilities. This confidence building has meant that other areas of training have gone incredibly smoothly, such as muzzle training.I would 100% recommend Steve. Super friendly too

Steve is such a fantastic Dog trainer. By far the best i have ever come across. He explains everything so simply and doesn't make you feel like a wally for not knowing things, a trend that some trainers have. Steve came out to our home to help us with our very over excited 15 month old cockapoo. We had been experiencing issues with jumping up, barking, pulling excessively on the lead, poor recall and high prey drive.From the moment Steve walked into our home the lessons began, we felt instantly at ease and our jaws were on the floor with how quickly our dog was responding to the training.The improvements have been remarkable already, especially the lead walking and her calmness when at home.Although we still have a way to go, we feel extremely confident with the knowledge that Steve has given to us. Steve also provided us with extensive report which we can to refer back to and it's great to know that we'll have he's support going forward if we have any issues or questions.Highly recommend!! Steve is a mircale worker, worth his weight in gold!

Steve came and visited our dog today and he is worth his weight I gold. Our dog responded to him so well and has continued to do so with us this afternoon. His ways of training are easy and very effective, even for our children. Steve makes you feel at ease and no question is left unanswered. Thank you so much Steve!
