How not to do retail. Insist on an appointment for an ‘exclusive’ experience. What a load of rubbish. Made to wait 15 mins before someone says “how can I help you?” And then have to go upstairs to ‘men’s’ which is actually just a tiny little TK Maxx style concession. Drove all the way from Birmingham for this. Not to mention, despite standing right in front of several staff members at the counter they all chose to continuously ignore myself and other customers who had appointments.Fully put me off LV for life. This is no longer a luxury brand, nothing but hip hop hype! Disgraceful, management should be ashamed.

I love to go LV for get all the bags for i want. I been there many time. All LV staffs give service for me very good.

Julien was great! I went into the store kinda knowing what I wanted but he went through all of the options and was very patient with me. I would 100% recommend going into this store, I wasn’t sure based on some of the other reviews.

If I could give 0 for the staff customer service skills I would. Staff are not polite, very rude and snooty as if they own the store. To work for Louis Vuitton and refuse to sell me a scarf that I was ready to buy and to claim they are busy with 2 customers in the store and 8 staff members. How shameful from a company that has come so far in the fashion industry. Not the first time this has happened. I have been to Harrods which is a lot more busier and have had the best customer service. Exchange square staff are very rude and need to go back for training as I now refuse to buy from there again. They have lost a customer who actually spends quite a lot with Louis Vuitton. I will now be buying from London, online or not at all. Very very disappointed. I will definitely be sending an email to Louis Vuitton head office and Selfridges about Selfridges in Manchester as I have spent thousands of pounds with Louis Vuitton and this is how I am treated.

We had an appt yesterday with Pat at the Manchester selfridges store and she was excellent. Pat was easy to get on with, she was patient with me as it was sooo hard to choose which bag to buy, she was knowledgeable about the products in store and the ideas behind the designs. I highly recommend Pat as the go to lady to help you at Louis vuitton

Visiting Manchester for the day, went to LV women’s to look for a bag for my wife. Really really impressed with Ellie who spent at least an hour with us, she showed us lots and lots of options of bags we have never ever seen before. She had amazing knowledge of when they were released, how they have evolved. Easily the best experience we have had buying from any of the Selfridges departments. There was no pushiness to buy and also no judgmental tone for being a premium seller. If I could give 10 stars I would- LV Manchester should honestly promote Ellie to a senior role so new staff learn from her. Thank you so much Ellie, if we are after another LV to compliment the Alma and On The Go we will make the journey to Manchester over buying in Oxford St or Bull Ring.

Everything was so swift and organised here, we did not have an appointment but they kindly accommodated us with just a 15 minute wait. G was our SA and he was fantastic, very friendly and professional. Great experience and will be returning next month!
