Do not order delivery from here. Was supposed to take 1 hour max and chased after 1hr 20 and then again 1hr 40 - order wasn't put in till we first rang and no compensation. Awful customer service. Not worth it.

sorry, your reply is worthless. Our complaint was about the quality of the food you provided, nothing about the freebies you offered. The food was utter trash, sorry.... you need to take heed of this.... utter garbageI can't submit the star rating it deserves as the option to give zero stars wasn't available!!! We haven't had a Rose of Bengal curry in quite a while so was unaware they had changed hands. The food, a chicken tikka masala along with a few sides was appalling. It was very very red, very very runny and very very sweet, also with a measly portion of meat. It was just like it was a cheap jar sauce. Not at all like the gorgeous masala we used to get from here. The naan bread was half the size they used to be from here and the guy who served us said we've given you a free poppadum too". REALLY

First time ordering from rose of bengal, and it will not be the last. It came hot, within the time they said. The delivery man was polite.The food was amazing couldn’t ask for a better Friday dinner. Thankyou

Food is mediocre now the owners have changed, food is nothing like it used to be and pretty much on par with every other Indian restaurant in the area (taste the same) it will be missed but it's too far to travel for what you get now.Won't be returning, I would suggest name change when you're changing the menu drastically but it's one person's opinion.

First time trying, tandoori chicken was tender, flavourful and really tasty, my partner is vegetarian and had the mushroom dishes, equally enjoyable, poppadoms were crispy, condiments were good, will be using again.

Second visit since the new menu.Absolutely delicious food on both occasions. The Korai last time was really lovely and the Chicken Pathia tonight was out of this world.Pathia is my favourite curry and so often it is badly prepared - but tonight's was perfect. A nice heat, sweetness and sourness balanced perfectly and not too overbearing tomatoes. Really lovely.Delicious Bhindi too.Highly recommended.

My partner and I love this place. Happy to collect our orders but we took advantage of delivery service. We ordered at 6pm and finally got food at 7.40p.. Whoever is delivering the food is totally incompetent. Nan was cold and sweaty no dips for poppadoms, one tiny yogurt dip with the tandoori mixed grill, absolutely flipping rubbish service and cold food.

I have grown up with the Rose, it is a taste of home and and I wish the owner and his family all the very best, they were so courteous and a part of my childhood. The new curry is very tasty, different but we enjoyed it and the naan was lovely. I will miss the old Rose, as will my mum and family - it is the end of an era. The extras were always welcome, but never expected. Wishing the new owners every success and peace and prosperity to all.

Chilli powder not madras mate ....very disappointed in my meal ....it's definitely changed hands ...cost if living and I had too throw 20 pound in the bin
