They helped me to buy a battery-operated strimmer ( agricultural size not a domestic one ). I came away with a Honda which has been perfect so they made a good recommendation. They give informed advice. Large range of gardening, forestry equipment, more towards the professional" end but all good quality. Car parking outside. Near to train station and bus station. Good web page with details of their products

Very pleased with the sales and service here. Fantastic large showroom with a huge range of equipment for both proffesional and DIY users, amazing. Excellent prices and very competitive so you won't lose out coming here. Great staff and plenty of parking (Hereford). I'm certainly going to repeat purchase from Ron Smith!

It's nice to be able to get sound advice from the staff here. As an absolute novice, they discussed my needs for a rotavator and gave me suggestions to consider and info to take away. Sometimes shopping on line with no real support is not a good idea and I highly recommend that you visit the showroom to physically see what is available. May save you making a mistake. I will definitely go back to this store.

Dropped off a stihl strimmer 12 weeks ago for a service ready for the season. Have chased it up but no avail. Today was telephoned (no apology for the time taken) to say it would cost £300 did I want them to start...........Don`t think so, will add £50-£100 and buy a new one elsewhere and will pick it up,.ah £40 please for the privilege (waiting for 3 months?)NOT PLEASED TO SAY THE LEAST!!!!!

I purchased a number of garden machinery items from Ron Smith a while ago. I must say, the after sales service has been terrible. Amazing how the staff behind the counter all look the other way as you approach through their flashy showroom, leaving the youngest person to take the enquiry. When one machine went wrong I was told I had bought a price point" machine and should expect it to break down regularly as it wasn't up to the job! Strange
