Always a great atmosphere, magnet always a good drink and everyone easy to get on with. Also dog friendly. We'll worth a visit if you're not from area.

A proper village pub with a homely interior, warm and welcoming management and great clientele to boot. For the authentic Northern pub experience you can do so much worse than this gem of s61. The lines are cleaned regularly which guarantees a brilliant pint. There's a well situated pool table, clean toilet facilities and in summer the beer garden is a delight.

Good family bar with a big beer garden to the back. Play ground and bouncy castle in the summer. They serve a good pint And put on regular events. They're on Facebook at 'The Yellow Lion P&K'

A friendly community pub with a decent beer garden suited to families. The beer selection is a bit lacking as is the ability to accept card payments (come on, folks - it's 2018!) Food isn't available as far as I could tell.
