What can I say that is good about their stores? Prices are competitive.Can't think of anything else!!!Never enough staff to help with advice, when you do find one most do not their products, there are exceptions of course, sometimes you do find a good one.Never leave the store feeling confident, they will not refund money on several items only get s credit note.So make sure you have the right product before you buy it.Better still go somewhere else...

Weekend sales staff are really helpful and try their best. But they're youngsters earning pocket money and don't know the store. But friendly service. Good prices and a good selection my only thing against is the stairs are really steep, there's a lot of them, so it's a bit ironic to have to just about crawl upstairs to buy walking shoes

Found a perfect pair of running shoes - when I finally found someone to get me the boxed pair, she bought me a box with the other shoe to match the display. After trying on the second shoe which fit entirely different (as display shoes obviously get tried on by so many!) I asked if she could get me a different pair. She said they were all rotated display shoes (as if) and refused to. Really upsetting as I can't find a pair in my size online.I cannot believe for a second that they would compromise every pair out back by putting them on display. What an absolute joke!!Staff are totally unhelpful and quite rude!

Cold and lonely, I strolled into sports direct. In from the heavy rain outside.I had a paper primark bag that had crumbled in my hands. A lot of reviews seem to be slamming the place for not being open at 9. If you've got time to review a place, surely you have time to check it's opening hours...Other than that, it's sports direct. It does sports stuff. What more could you want?

Picked up a pair of running trainers. Happy with the price and the staff were helpful and polite. There is a small game store at the top as well.

It was as you'd expect it to be. Nothing special. Hard to find good service within the shop itself. Prices are nowhere near as cheap as they give the impression of being.We all know how Ashley operates, and this reflects in his shops.

Good selection of well known sports wear and competively priced

The shop and staff are good, but stay away from Karrimor as a shoe brand!Bought a pair of trainers (had them 6 months) a pair of brown walking boots ( had them 8 months) and a brand new pair of Ridge 2 WTX hiking boots and they failed putting them on the very first time. Photos enclosed. They just don’t last and are a lot of money for cheap rubbish that seems to be built sub standard. Also I was told by the staff at Canterbury branch that unless I have my receipt or proof of purchase they will NOT refund or exchange, I offered to prove by bank statement but because I had purchased several things together they stated this didn’t prove I had purchased the shoes from them!!Left very angry, disappointed and won’t be using the brand ever again.
