I completed a General Visual Line of Sight Certificate course in the Specific Category with iRed last week and have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it!Colin and Steve were both professional whilst remaining approachable and their knowledge on the subject was great too. I feel that they deserve a mention.Despite there being a large amount of theory in relation to this course, it soon became relevant when flying and Colin knew where to pitch breaks to hold the crowds attention, which can be difficult with my lot.Thoroughly recommended and thank you!Ken (the trouble maker at the back of the class, haha)

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the weeks course last month, and in particular the last couple of days at the drone farm, where the amount of quality, informative and practical knowledge you were able to provide was just superb and excellent. I would highly recommend, if not insist, that any drone operator with thermal payloads and the intention to provide professional aerial thermal services who have not undertaken formal training sign up with iRed immediately, they won’t be disappointed,! It is an essential part of an operators knowledge base.

Excellent course, thoroughly engaging with outstanding Tutor. Organisation for the course is very well done, and very high quality of engagement achieved with small class numbers. One of the best courses I have attended in years. Admin staff are also very helpful, providing 360 degree support throughout. iRed are also very experienced in the field of Thermography bringing a significant level of competence into the learning process. The additional Drone day was extremely helpful to me to understand aspects of Drone Thermography that cannot be found on YouTube!

With iRed I’ve completed my drone piloting GVC, and the BINDT Cat 1 Thermography with drones, and photogrammetry course with drones, i’m so glad that I found them, they’ve provided good progressive learning resources, great tuition and support throughout. When I started I don’t mind saying that I was lacking confidence with my drone flying, the rules kept changing and was on the brink of giving up, but iRed and their team changed that. I now take my drone out with confidence and love every moment, safe in the knowledge i’m a safe pilot, flying legally and learning new skills all the while. I’m now looking forward to my first commercial flight! Thank you everyone at iRed.

I found the ired Academy Drone Thermography Category 1 course to be highly informative, challenging and a fantastic learning experience. The course content was comprehensive and a good mix of practical exercises made it a very enjoyable five days. The course was delivered by Steve, a highly knowledgeable and experienced professional in the field of thermography. His great teaching style and willingness to answer any question further enhanced the overall high quality of this course. Thoroughly recommended!

Having recently completed CAT1, and soon to be returning for CAT2, I would highly recommend iRed Thermography training. Brilliant experience all the way through and a very supportive environment to carry out your training. Steve, the tutor, was excellent and quick to reply to questions / give advice after the course was over. I did the 5 day online course, due to Covid restrictions, and didn't feel that anything was lost by not physically being in the classroom.

I highly recommend all the team at iRed. It's a fantastic organisation with great staff members. I attended #Thermography training with them (for building performance evaluation #BPE ) and I must say I was not disappointed at all! They are some of the most knowledgeable and nicest people I've ever met, not just in the area of thermography, but in general. Really happy with the training for the CAT1 Thermography course and I cannot wait to build up my portfolio to get back for the CAT2. Would recommend IRED to anyone who requires Thermography training, equipment, calibration or services!

We sat the 5 day Drone Thermal Imaging course and exam in Jan 2020 with a view to gaining BINDT PCN Level 1 accreditation.The course was taught well, covering some quite technical aspects in an easy to digest manner. The instructor Steve is very knowledgeable but also able to impart his knowledge clearly.Once you have sat the course and passed the exam, you then need to build up experience hours to get the full PCN accreditation.Throughout the following year, Steve and the staff at iRed have been very supportive in answering queries and helping us grasp the more practical aspects of thermography. This was invaluable in helping us gain the full accreditation!My only improvement point would be to have more time on the practical side, putting the theory into practice.However, I would highly recommend iRed Thermography training and looking forward to going back for more!

I have just finished my A2 Cofc course with iRed and glad to say I got a pass in the final exam. For anyone who is considering going for theA2 Cofc I can't speak high enough of iRed as their training format and training manual are extremely enjoyable and very informative even if like me you have been flying RC aircraft for many years. I am now the wrong side of 65 years old and been flying model aircraft since the 1980s and flying quadcoters for at least 8 - 9 years and I found the wealth of information gained from iRed was absolutely priceless. In this hobby you are never to old to learn more and should never think you are. I haven't took a theory exam for many years yet their training format takes all the stress and worry out of the new style of theory examinations.My instructor Colin was always at the end of the phone via email or to talk you through every part. So if, like me your getting on, I thoroughly recommend going for this course as specially with iRed that obviously understand that not everyone has a photographic memory. I set myself my own timetable so as not to rush the course and learn so as the information was absorbed and not just remembered for the exam. I took approximately four weeks with never having to rush any element.Each element had a short test to make sure the information was taken in and if it wasn't you could go back and revise in your own time to proceed.The exam was set around a Proctoring software which is worth reading up about but once you sign on its in easy to follow steps that lead you to the start of the final exam.even though I received my new laptop at Christmas and it was a complete different system I still managed to gain the relevant information and complete the course stress free. If anyone is in any doubt about going for the A2Cofc my personal thoughts are to go for it you will be very surprised how much there still is to learn about flying drones safely and giving yourself more confidence in knowing the correct way to approach the practice of UAV flying. If I require any future training or refresher training I would have no hesitation in going straight back to iRed.I am full of admiration and gratitude to them for producing a fantastic training program.By the way the feedback is not from Julie Lewis it is from from mePaul Lewis her husband.
