Wilkins Chimney Sweep

Last year I moved into our property and was getting qoutes to have our chimney capped. I booked in with this company but cancelled my booking as my husband wanted to give it ago himself. Fast forward to last month I received an invoice from this company for over £140 for chimney capping. I promptly called to company to state they had never been at my property or carried out work on my property. The following day the owner had been to my property to take photos without consent and then got into contact with me. I questioned the owner regarding entering my property without consent he insisted he was at the end of the road taking photos but also insist the tiny writing on the chimney cap is his product and how it is fitted is his work..... that dosent sound like he was at the end of the road. I once again informed the owner my husband fitted the cap which has failed many times so has had to be replaced many times so it can not be how his company fit them neither is it a professional job. The owner has demanded proof I purchased a chimney cap myself ( yup who keeps proof of purchase for over a year for a piece of metal) and has even wanted to get onto my roof!The owner has been nothing but rude, threatening and has worried a young woman home alone as I keep worrying that each knock on the door is again this company coming to my property without consent.If I was you I would stay away from this company do not even get a qoute as you will end up with a bill for work that wasn't even carried out!Nothing but unprofessional money grabbers

Birds nest removal and chimney cleanwas excellent.The order for bird cowl has not happened despite several calls.Wilkins is a franchise business and charges more than local tradesmen.
