Dearne House Cats

Have used Dearne House Cats for 20 years and they have always been friendly, helpful and they make a real effort to make sure the cats are looked after.

After another cattery let us down last minute, we had to find our beloved cat a new cattery. Audrey did absolutely everything to help and reassure us. I needn't have worried - Tilly was so well cared for and came home a week later with her usual glossy coat and sparkly eyes. She had clearly been very happy. We couldn't be happier to have discovered Dearne House Cats, and will only be using this cattery ongoing, and will recommend to all our feline loving friends.

They looked after our cat well while we were on holiday. At least we think they did. Jasmine didn't complain at all!!

Best cattery we have found in the South Huddersfield area... very comfy, plenty of kennels so more chance of a space, very friendly, trusting & flexible.... also better value than others.

Joanne and Audrey are both so caring and looked after my two cats so well. I would have no hesitation leaving them again.

Brilliant cattery which we have used on multiple occasions over many years. Our cats always come back to us very happy - which is often unheard of when you leave cats! The rooms are lovely and come with heating when cold and a private area so that the cats can hide away if they want to. The rooms have a large area for the cats to exercise in, as well as a scratching post and litter tray. Beds are provided but there’s no issue with taking your cat’s own things. They have all types of food and welcome you taking your own little treats for the cats (we always drop off a few tins of tuna!) Reasonable prices - single and double rooms available so excellent for those with more than one cat!

We have used this cattery several times! They were so helpful, so accommodating and went above and beyond to provide fantastic service! The staff were the loveliest people and the price is so reasonable! Definitely recommend and we will be using again!

Brought my cat here over the Christmas period and was really sceptical about leaving him at first because I’d never left him before.But when I got there it seemed he was fairly happy, so happy that he wasn’t bothered about me leaving and was curious to see his new neighbors.When I got back and picked him up, I found him waiting for me even happier than when I left him due to all the treats, cuddles and play times he received, along with the other cats who were in there a the time.Overall I was incredibly pleased with the way he was treated and would definety send him there in the future, as in my opinion it’s on of the best catteries around.

My two cats stayed here several times and I was very happy with the homely care that they received. Also the space they had was great, as well as the attention to detail in care by Audrey and her team. Thank you :)
